Officer Ronson
I think I get why people complaint about V being rushed. It ins't because a low number of missions (VC had 61 missions yet is still praised) or them being easy. Its because everything is unlocked since the start (appart for a few things like the ability to buy clothes and other stuff) All the other GTA games had you doing missions to be able to unlock an Island or a feature or things like that. But in V you were given everything in a Golden plate, other GTAs had you doing side activies and main story missions just to acquire something. And hence why people feel like they have nothing else to do, its because everything is unlocked. Other games had you hunting pigeons to unlock gloves. Ai®a©ob®a
They spend years on this game, While the people who made COD spent a year on it. COD has been releasing a new title once a year and the graphic and game play doesn't even compare to GTA V but people are saying COD is way better then GTA V

They just change the theme, maps and story and sell millions for the upgrade. Edited November 2, 2013 by DexterII
PlanetaryUnfolding
hunting pigeons to unlock gloves? you talkin about gta4? i always wondered how to get the fingerless gloves they advertised before the game came out. is that really how you get them? haha
seventhreeo
VC was made in 9 months, and for its time was great too. It's 2013, and from a game that took 5 years to make people expect a lot more. I think they wasted time in some things like underwater scenery. Officer Ronson
IV had 88 Missions and most of them were sloppy and boring, V haves you chasing a lawyer down the runway of an airport with sports vehicles while being chased by the cops causing struggle and deaths along the way, seeing how those cop cars flew by was cinematic, I gotta admit she din't have to die but it added the cherry ontop cake to the mission. marco-polo
I miss the bridges that were "under repair due to weather conditions" and you could eventually cross them, but yeah having full access got rid of the surprises before they could be unlocked in progression of the story. I think they wasted time in some things like underwater scenery. Of all things to spend time on, i wish it wasn't underwater stuff.. I'd rather drown myself first than swim to shore or explore underwater, others may be into it. It's fun for 2-4 minutes, but full on awesomeness? No IV had 88 Missions and most of them were sloppy and boring. I just wish that the 'drive here and get a suit" kinda jobs weren't considered missions. There were a few that took 3 minutes and had no challenge.. Edited November 2, 2013 by marco-polo
Officer Ronson
The underwater is full of things to discover, like bodies of the serial killer, Crashed planes or UFOs, secret messages and etc.
marco-polo
Fair call, i understand that and as said - others may be into it. I just personally wish that more was done for the onshore development and not towards rocks and coral. Was it cool to dive in and swim into the research lab? Hell yeah, but spending time in a slow submarine finding things with an unpredictable guidance system or diving to see fish, planes, or secret messages isn't my idea of a game about crime.. And it's boring..imo I just don't don't think underwater detail had to be so detailed when other stuff (story, trees/dark forests, buildings, car damage) could have been focused on. If you're happy with it, that's cool.
Officer Ronson
Meh, just wait for PC or updates. It'll eventually get better.
Ai®a©ob®a
Marco.. I'm guessing you never found the hidden money packages worth $25,000 each time and unlimited dives hidden within those wrecks to get money quick or the weapons hidden around the wreckages so you could get weapons long before you ever got them unlocked in SP. ..GhosT
Its the graphics, mostly. Most of the working time on games go into graphics. Back when Playstation 1 was the console we played on, games had the worst graphics you could ever imagine, yet they had a long, long playtime. Perfect example is Battlefield 4. Hell, 7 missions for the storyline? Whats that. But yes, V really isnt what i expected, i cant even think its the game of the year for me, it just cant be. Singleplayer, 1 and a half week, done - singleplayer is over, nothing to do anymore. Why would i do side missions, 100%, when theres nothing i can do with the rewards? Multiplayer had a great potential, but they f*cked it up big time. Same missions over and over, nerfing rewards, never patching glitches, blah blah. V is kinda over for me. Unless i want to jump in and have some fun with my friends i wont touch it again, i guess. Ill wait for the PC version and mod the hell out of it. Ai®a©ob®a
Well the game has only been out a month and they have already made 3 or 4 patches I forget. At least now they are able to fix problems and add stuff unlike PS1 & PS2 if the game sucked or had glitches of bugs you were screwed at least now they have room for improvement and better quality and I wouldn't be surprise if they add more and more stuff as time goes on. It's only been a month so let's give them the benefit of a doubt that they are going to fix things
Ai®a©ob®a
Singleplayer 1 and half weeks done See I think that is the problem with a lot of people they sort of rushed though the game and since they beat it they are bored of it. I've had it for a month now and i'm still finding things to get into for hours before I ever touch a missions. Some people rush though the game and don't do anything else just mission after mission after mission and when they have nothing left to do mission wise they get bored and don't want to play it anymore. Games like this should be taken in time enjoy it, Don't rush it otherwise it's not any fun after a while.

V has some of the best visuals from any game this gen. You over hyped yourself along with all the other whiners out there. "I want V to be SA 2, and have the most amazing graphics ever." You have no idea what it even begins to take to develop a videogame you imbecile. You're just some stooge who expects sh*t and has absolutely no respect for the people that make it! "aw imma just wait until the pc version comes out we gon have mods that make da gaem amazin" Do you even f*cking think one second that ordinary people make those mods? That they take time out of their day to make said mods, that it doesn't just happen automatically? Of course not, your just a squealing pig at the troff of ignorance. V is a massive accomplishment period. Great story, compelling characters, almost unlimited variety of anything you want to do, ultimate freedom. What in the actual f*ck could've you wanted more from this hardware? Did you expect R* to sh*t a golden egg or something? f*ck.
