Dave Rizza Posted November 2, 2013 Share Posted November 2, 2013 So..I have two xboxes. the one i use most is the newest slim version but unfortunately the disk drive is gone on it. I busted out my old 120gb Elite for GTA V since there was no Download version and its ran fine apart from some pop-in issues and some occasional freezing but its way too noisy for me. Seriously...It sounds like a jet taking off. I decided since i have a few spare notes to spend to get the Download version today so i can play on my nice quiet slim and be able to play it on same console as all my other games. Problem is it dosnt give an option to install to two seperate drives. Didnt even give me an option to choose which drive i installed it too even though i have my 32GB sandisk 3.0 in and formatted. Is there a way to seperate the installs so the Main Install and Play Install are on seperate drives? Im hoping i can manually move the 4 install packs over once its finished downloading them. Is this possible? Anyone running the Download version?? how does it play?? Any help/advice welcomed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dave Rizza Posted November 2, 2013 Author Share Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) They actually seperated it into 5 parts First was the 8GB install and then run the game and download 4 parts of the "play" disk. I though at least there would be a choice of destinatation drive. Did however test it this morning and didnt notice any pop in that i was getting on my old Elite and of course its soooooo quiet EDIT: Actually.....It looks HORRIBLE...textures in cutscenes arent even loading in properly and vehicles are spawning in just 3 car lenghs ahead ahaha. It is however letting me move the 8GB original file to my Sandisk Extreme 32GB 3.0 Card. perhaps thats why they have seperated it. I guess ill know soon or its 50 quid down the drain and back to my Elite as this would be unplayable in its current state.
