How do I have Friend only games?

I start a friend only game but when we try to play golf etc it sticks us in separate games with other people. How do I set things up so me and my friends can just do our own thing?

Its best just to do an online invite only session for all your friends but even then make sure you set "matchmaking" to closed when hosting a job/mission/golf etc

 

That way when you send invites to friends no randoms will join

Tried that and it still stocks me in a game with other people. I just want a game with friends only why is that so hard?
