Some have suggested the amount dropped is based on the time in-game (later it is, the more that drops) but I havn't noticed. Maybe it's also level related, or are you both about the same level?

 

Maybe it's just really, really bad luck.

 

 

I've also wondered if the amount inside is time dependent, has the truck been to all the stores yet, but i always forget to check the time in the heat of the cop swarm lol

Glitch some cash quickly before they fix it for good, then even if you lost everything you would have tested stuff out and know if it was worth buying next time.

 

It's not like they're going to punish millions of players when the corporate mood is currently apologetic over the launch debacle. Anyway, you paid for this game with real money, you paid for entertainment, to be in a virtual environment where you can do almost anything and you don't have to be your usual moral self. So if there's stuff you can do in this fantasy world then do it.

 

I don't play GTA to walk around like a law abiding citizen, and if tomorrow somebody figures out how to make the ATM's vomit cash all over the city I'll be there with my shopping trolley scooping it up.

 

The money glitch is there because R* messed up, they'll blame themselves for allowing it to happen, not you for collecting free money.
