GTA Online finally got fully boring for me today.

I think quite a few people here take themselves too seriously. I don't mean all, but I have encountered a fair few who think they are something special, that's great for you. Keep behaving like that! Makes you so cool!

 

Anyway, really they are a lazy developer and everybody knows that now that they have their billion dollars from the consumer, whatever happens next isn't really important, we've made Rockstar rich as a collective.

 

On top of this, whoever said that I should 'make my own fun' wtf? Why the hell would I play a console game to 'make my own fun' what the f*ck would be the point of playing it? No, it's the game's job to entertain me. If I wanted to 'make my own fun' I'd stand outside with a bucket on my head and a broom handle and a couple of friends, pretending that we're knights or something - THAT is making your own fun, I do not want to do this, this is why I play GAMES, to ENTERTAIN ME.

I don't think you never understand the concept of a "sandbox" game, If you need the game to "entertain you" then a game like CoD should be fine where the game "entertains" you, tell you where to go, how to do it, and etc.

What makes me laugh most about this thread/similar threads... The op ends up never selling the game, and continues to play it everyday. There the first ones to download the dlc when it drops and there the first ones to start writing negative views of it after literally drilling the game for about 12 hours a day.

All the ingredients for fun are there, it's whether or not you choose to mix them that decides if it is fun or not. In your example bucket+broom+friends=fun! that same theory goes for V. Cargobob+Boat+Big mountains= fun. Pretty much every game relies on you to make a bit of your own fun, the game may give you objectives but how you go about doing them is where you make fun.

 

Maybe if you all spent less time bitching and more time coming up with fun things to do you might enjoy the game.

I turn it on to play, light a nice bit fat spliff and prepare myself.

The loading screens carry on and then I'm finally as my online alter-ego sitting in my $400,000 apartment. I go down to my garage and think 'Which expensive or rare car shall I drive today?' Finally after making my choice, I call up various useless contacts trying to get the best LOW PAID mission there is to offer. Nothing good, let's try team/deathmatch. No, that's boring. Let's try survivals? No, I've completed all 6, and they are boring. Let's try parachuting? Yeah, that was fun for an hour. What else is there to do on GTA ONline? Oh, that's right. Absolutely nothing.

After the honeymoon period is over and I pulled my head from GTA ONline's arse, I quickly realised that the online portion of this game is actually a piece of sh*t and they may aswell have not bothered with it.

Sounds like you were playing online obsessively up until this point. If so, that's what happens when you deny yourself the ability to enjoy the game. Because you were too busy farming/glitching and trying to beat the game in unlocking all the content before everyone else.

 

Well at least now you'll have the time to realize there are other games---especially real life ---outside the SA universe.

On a side note I see that we're getting more and more threads from the people who glitched/cheated, stating how the game is boring.

 

This is a good sign as they will most probably be leaving us soon and crapping on the next big title that they take advantage of.

OP basically this. The online game wouldn't be so boring if you opted to play it differently. You've apparently acquired and maxed out all the material possessions the game has to offer in terms of existing content. But why not use the material possession which you've acquired for good use (instead of going the other route aka griefing ppl)?

 

If you've got a chopper, why not use it to help out players escape their wanted levels? Or create your own impromptu race in FM with friends? like make a car race leg, a swim leg, a run leg etc etc. and place bets on who would win etc. There are a lot of stuff you can do around the map in FM. You're only limited by your creativity on your end.

If you're so bored then you can either send some suggestions to rockstargames, or simply find players, do whatever to them, make friends or enemies, the possibilities of the player matchmaking are endless! Make enough money to where you are a lot powerful. Run a crew, treat them like family, gain power, ofcorse send them to do certain task such as hiring a driver or bodyguard.

 

Or even become a Arms Dealer and let people notice you are reliable!(Sell guns to players by selecting it in your weapon inventory and dropping it.) Sell those food items and cigars from 24/7 and act like they are drugs to others, let them know you sell these items! Become a personal hitman! For players for cash! Ton of possibilities, sorry for listing all of the Rolelplay like features.
