johnny_zoo
If you saw my previous thread a while you'd know I performed a stand up comedy set earlier this month at my jazzclub. It went OK the crowd were good and didn't heckle me. Either way it was exhilarating, there's no other feeling as good talking into a microphone to a group of people and making them laugh. I am writing another set and can't wait to try it out. I wish I had filmed it but for now I only have audio. https://soundcloud.com/timothy-mahon/first-open-mic Edited November 1, 2013 by johnny_zoo Ramyhyday

Finn 7 five 11
I can't really hear it unfortunately. All I can say is project your voice more, be a little less dry. Smith John
Typhus
Good for you, mate. There's nothing more serious than comedy, it's a damn Lions den, and if you've got the balls to go in there, put yourself on the line and give it a shot? Well, you're a braver man than I Smith John

I think the ambience is more to blame. I imagine what ever recording device there was is probably drowned in the audience.

Everytime I listen to it I cringe. Edited November 3, 2013 by johnny_zoo

Just picture your audience as a bunch of meat ready to be fried up and tenderised, and you'll be a winning hit my man. Finn 7 five 11
I dunno if Typhus is made for stand up. His laughs are usually like "haha...f*ck"
