Do sticky bombs expire?

GTAIV they had a time limit before they would explode. Is there a time limit in GTAO? If so, how long?

 

I'm trying to park high end cars outside of LSC and blow people up because I have no imagination or creativity and nothing better to do with my free time

They don't expire, no matter how much time goes by or how far away you are. They are there forever until you leave or die.

 

Keep in mind the cars can/will still despawn though, if it's not your personal vehicle. Even with a sticky bomb on it, the car will just vanish and leave the sticky bomb floating eerily in midair.

Yeah like others said they don't have a timer BUT they might have a limit as to how many can be put in one spot. (Not 100% sure though, just assuming it's like GTA IV)

The limit you can have anywhere is 5. It will tell you that as soon as you place your 5th one. Placing a 6th one will just erase the 1st one.

It was on a personal vehicle. Specifically the snowy police rancher that I didn't really want in the first place, but had. Parked it right in front of the garage door with the light and sirens on
