Stealth should take you off the map...

I agree that if using stealth online then other players shouldn't be able to see u on map unless you shoot or drop grenades or hit ppl.

Problem with this: everyone can level stealth in 20 minutes. So, in the end, you will end up with everybody being invisible

Yeah, but if you're eyeballing it, the stealth person doesn't exactly blend in. You got a bunch of NPCs walking along and one meth head looking asshole crouched over like he's about to drop a deuce in the road moving at a diminished pace.

Yup yup, I know. My char is maxed on everything but lung capacity. I REALLY don`t see the point on doing that yet

Easier than that. Private lobby, find an open lot, and then get in stealth mode, tie a rubber band to the controller with the left stick pulled to the right, then go do something else for a half hour.

I don't know this to be true for myself but I have heard players claim that stealth does impact your ability to move without being seen(on the map) in death matches. I've heard some claim that with high stealth and a suppressor you are virtually invisible in death matches. No clue if it's true?

I think they should eliminate any means of knowing where someone is on the map as its unrealistic, on top of that they should double servers to hold 32 players, This will make those who just want to wage war against other players to do some actual work to accomplish it.

I was really hoping this would effect something in Free Roam also. I did not know it worked by just walking around though. I spent like three days sneaking up to hookers on the beach and stealth killing them with the knife.

At least the role play was enjoyable, lol.

I did this one too, drowning a couple of times in the process, obviously , but the lung thing can be pretty useful when escaping cops.

How so? Nothing game breaking about making stealth take you off the minimap? Are you concerned that everyone in the entire game will just stealth around and be invisible? That's f*cking stupid. Stealth would actually serve it's purpose. Someone about to gank the f*ck out of you? WELL with this new stealth you can actually f*cking hide and make them seek you out.|

 

It would make bounty hunting require oh.. idk... HUNTING? The moment they get in a car or start running they would reappear and chase is back on.

Every so often radar should go offline.. have a visual alert "LOS SANTOS RADAR SYSTEM WAS DAMAGED BY FLOCK OF BIRDS" and keep it off for about 5 or 6 hours of game time.

 

I'd like to see the Maze Bank website go offline every once in a while as well..

From a distance it shouldn't take u off the map but if you're within a reasonable distance from another player it should make u invisible on radar

Actually with a silencer on my carbine i was able to kill about 6 people in 1 spot without being noticed >_>

In free mode, it lowers (not eliminates) the chances of the police hearing your gunfire. You gotta keep the pigs off your back while you're gunning down noobs.

 

In deathmatches, it helps keep you off the radar as long as you're not making all kinds of other noise by running around.

 

I wish the stealth walk had more of an effect, though. Has anyone noticed if it hides the nametag above your head when you do it, like GTA IV?

Blips should be off at all times, then the only way to see them would be to pay Lester, and even then it would only be visble to the person that paid Lester. Going in to stealth mode would negate the Lester Locate but how far can you make it like that. Let the hunt begin.

that's a great, great idea. and I shoot down a lot of ideas on here. but that is fair, interesting, and would actually make the game more fun than it is now. much better than most of the ideas floating around this site which generally follow this formula:

 

I think everyone should have to play the game the way I want them to, make it happen rockstar.
