Midnight1811
Hiya, well I've long completed the story and what a master piece it is from Rockstar. Definitely worthy of GOTY. However, the collectibles, in particular, the Knife Flights are the most horribly designed pieces in the game. Now I'm aware that for 100% only 8/15 are required, for which I've already succeeded. What I would like though is to get the trophy but I'm stuck on one limiting me to 14/15. I have followed the 'Powerpyx' guide to show me the locations and make the process less laborious. For those who have watched the video the Knife Flight I'm stuck on is #8. If somebody has completed this one then please could you give me a run down on how you've accomplished this, what type of plane did you use. The problem with mine is that I'm flying in with a stunt plane, getting in between both buildings yet it is not being triggered. If somebody could please elaborate on how you've completed this I would be very grateful. Just to clarify, I've down 14/15 (Only #8 is missing- the one in the video) and I'm trying this for the trophy that comes along as I have already done 50 Under the Bridge Thanks
Ai®a©ob®a
Go to www.maps.achievementhunter.com and click on the GTA5 map and it'll show you where every Knife Flight is as well as videos to help guide you though it also lets you check off spots you've already done so you don't go back to it. Spuds725
I just did mine last night--- I did this from the south (not that the direction matters much)-- as shown in the guide I used (also #8 shown at 2:40 into the video)-- he barely had his wing in there for it to count... Are you sure this is the missing one?? I approached from south (I quick save well to the south of this so I could repeat if I failed)-- using the Mallard stunt plane-- I happened to knife to the left (dipped my left wing) as I find it easier to knife that way. Ai®a©ob®a
How do you indicate the Knife Flight? Do you just fly into the area and it sounds, Like under the bridge?
Spuds725
Yes-- just a lot less of them-- I advise anyone doing these to use a video guide-- do them in order, and quick save before and after each one-- and if you happen to die doing a particularly hard one-- leave well enough alone and just get a new plane. I also urge you to turn off your auto save-- the game autosaves after you complete each one and if you crash right after doing one it can bugger stuff up. I personally turned off my autosave long ago-- is more of a hinderance then a help IMO... loving having a quick save option though. Note-- sometimes when you reload a quicksave in the plane-- the plane won't be there-- in which case you will be skydiving when you reload.
