Do tires on cars matter?

Do tires on cars matter because i all-ways buy the best tires but the stock tires seem to be better. Has anyone found that the grip is better the more expensive the tires?

I don't think it matters that much but i find the offroad tires can make any vehicle an offroader

The tyres differ on the Wheel types (At least visually). The Tyres are different on High-end, lowrider etc.

if you notice when you switch from rim to rim the tires change too. I notcied this the other day when i had a hot rod and i put off road "rims" but the tires were then bumpy like the off road tires. And so i switched back to racing rims and the tires were flat again

Exactly. The tires visually change. And thats i believe what OP is wondering is that since they visually change does it physically effect tire performance in any way....OP i dont know and have wondered this myself as well
