Is GTA Online Boring you?

Just wondering how some of you are feeling over GTA Online if its boring you or not. Im just waiting on Heists

It's obviously getting boring. The time it takes to get bored is just longer in the online version than the single player. I have basically stopped playing and am waiting for the heists as well.

Yea I don't have a mic or any e-friends. I have a couple of friends that play this game but we usually aren't on at the same times.

It's never boring for me. Someone I know from tumblr is always online. Then crew sessions are a blast, especially since almost every member has a mic.

Despite the different locations for survival it's basically the same exact scenario each time. The missions are repetitive. The mini games have grown a bit old and what once seemed cool now is a bit silly like arm wrestling & tennis IMO. The DLC just promises more of the same in a different skin. The social club has yet to work properly and the leader boards that are working have been glitched. Glitchers and modders are getting worse. R* has rubbed me the wrong way with how they have handled this first month and the many problems it presented. I'll probably head back to old favorites now while I await the next gen. Don't think I'll be spending nearly as much time with GTA Online as I had anticipated

Was going to reply to this thread but you said everything I was thinking, GTAO was fun, but I thought I would spend months with this game, I thought it would be the best online experience I've ever had in a video game. In that aspect I am extremely dissapointed.

I would still be playing except that all the people i WAS playing with have started playing other games.

Regularly play with a group of friends, usually atleast 3 of us, sometimes it's a full party, always have a blast. Private freeroams, races, missions, golf, its awesome. Just hate it when a random joins.

I'm on a hiatus for now till a lot of the issues are fixed and the Beach Bum pack is released. Battlefield 4 will occupy me till then.

i'm usually a quiet player i don't kill people unless they kill me or i feel threatened

 

but i never get bored of a good free roam rampage haha

 

And i'm not pushed on the heists but i wouldn't mind seeing some new content soon

I've been just jacking around for awhile.I literally spent an hour and a half today just bunny hopping my bike off a ledge into the back of an XL truck..just to drive it around the map..I am getting sick of just trying to level up. the best use of my time is to redo the bike race "cycle path" solo over and over..and get average of 1500 rp everytime...all my other activities don't pay out enough. I really really don't care about the cash payout, I just want to level up faster.

The game looses spark without a headset and friends to play with, at least for me.

Very Boring! Moved on to WWE2K14 and BF4! Hopefully Rockstar gets the DLC rolling or GTAV goes Bye-Bye.

A bit bored, since all I have left to do are unlocks and to get money for a super car. Races are one of the few things that make me play the game still... I'd need to organize a GTA Forums Free Mode/Races Event in order to break loose from being bored.

I agree. Loading between missions is terrible.

 

Even if we choose to replay the same mission it takes forever to load.

 

I'm waiting for heists.

 

Not even gonna bother logging in until they are up.

Free mode vigilante when there's action on the map. Public Enemy #1 when I have to make my own action. Those that refuse the bait and run for the hills rather than engage are free to run. Names noted and left to their peace. But I have to try and piss you off a little.

 

I try not to shoot first. I've run into many players that just like to fool around and race with other free roamers. Don't try to kill these guys too often, but a couple shots at the ground usually sends them on their way.

 

edit: And have you seen the GTAStunting video? After I saw some of the jumps they made, I had to go out and figure out how to jump my Akuma. Come to find out that the Ruffian may be better for stungting, but I haven't had tried anything else yet. Try stunting on a bike.

I started getting bored when my friends and crew stopped playing ... oh, just over a week ago. I really felt a loss of interest with the mission nerfing of 1.04 as well. I'm basically waiting to see what direction R* will go with 1.05 and if it will be to my liking or not. Also heists. That has always been what I looked forward to the most. It feels like we've been waiting far longer than we actually have been for them. Sounds from the latest Newswire release that they may still be a while. It's all good, though. My copy of the game isn't going to self-destruct due to lack of use.

i have to say... yeah

 

yesterday it felt dull and today i just get frustrated by small bs.

 

its a good thing i got AC black flag... but i never thought i would swap disc´s this fast.

 

gta online is just getting stale...

 

the missions are boring and too small, it lacks context and feeling connected to it... prob because there are no cut scenes no intro´s etc. i dont get why you cant do several missions from single player but with friends. like the basicly railed shootouts you did with the 3, or lamar/frank crap with strech... basicly every building you can enter was made for that... copy past... you did it with loads of other stuff

 

the deatmatches... i wish i could choose free aim all the time... now it just boils down to, who shoots first or has the beter weapon.

or we has the best co op player (read one with a mic that talks so you can have eachothers backs)

 

crews... it means absolutly nothing... you dont even zone back together... and why the f cant you do a quickjob with friends/crew

 

the invite system is so wacky it just doesnt work. i never ever made it so far that i could host a full group... inv system is just weird.

 

joining quickjob does the following thing for 95% of the time

- join mission : coveted/a titan of a job

- join race : criminal records // route 68

- join deathmatch : you get several, but more then 8 players is a goddamn xmas mirracle

 

the way r* handles this is f-ed up... great an app and a social page... how about a forum with mods from r* and feedback

and decent patch notes not just 4% of the info

 

how about asking player feedback.... keeping your mouth shut works before selling a game if you have an ip that on a huge ass pedestal with several generations of ppl... but they are killing their own ip and reputation this way... you want a decent open mmo

 

you are gonna need to have stable talks with your customers/players
