why are they still going on about lost progress

thought they figured that one out by now

I haven't lost anything recently even when the game crashed or I dashboarded to try to get out of bad sport (didn't work :( )

Some cars still have issues. One friend has an empty spot in his garage for a car he says he destroyed, yet the spot is only empty visually, as the next 2 cars were put in order afterwards, not filling the said spot. It acts as if it still has or the game thinks it has a car onto that spot.

 

I suspect that is not the only thing that is still off.

 

You sure he dont have insurance on it and dont know how it works?

R* have a sh*t load of employees which must "wee" a lot, so it'll be soon. Even writing this is making me want to piss.

I`m not and he isn`t / wasn`t either. If anything, that spot will ask him to replace a car at his 10th, or not. We know the former car`s name, so it`s not an issue either way.

 

As for my original comment - it might have not been a bug, but rather not knowing the game mechanics :)

Did you read some of those comments...its amazing how uneducated some of the players are in this game..

The worst part is, those people aren't just on the internet... they walk among us.

 

Their heads are also a few feet closer to the ground.

It amuses me when i read replies full of impatience and moaning

 

This isnt as simple as stacking shelves, IT development on this scale is a mine field. Fixing save issues, loss of characters, money, reworking code and integrating all of this on different platforms is not something you can ever give a definite delivery date on.

 

It still seems that a lot of gamers are spending all their time on this 1 title with expectations that are way way way too high. The game has only been out 5 weeks, a small dot on an ever increasing expanse

 

Please go and play something else for awhile then come back, get the update, enjoy the free add ons, get bored, go play another game, get bored with that, come back to this title, get bored, move on, come back etc

They've said "by the end of next week" for the past 3 weeks now. I'm pretty sure "by the end of next week" means something entirely different to Rockstar.

They are referring to a weeks time on Neptune I believe

Some people have jobs and can afford to buy multiple games, unlike you scraping pocket money for weeks just for gta, lol kid.

my point was it seems like with every patch they come out with more problems occur online

I lose money all the time, 300k here. 100k there. I lost a baller last nite, crew member lost the 57bel air last nite.

I lost a car as well (just disappeared from my garage) but when I called Mors Insurance, it was there and I could get it back. Perhaps you should try that out!

I suspect that is not the only thing that is still off.

If it shows the car as destroyed he needs to overwrite that spot with a car. It won't do it automatically and won't allow him to choose that spot until his garage is full. Once the garage is full it will ask him to overwrite a car... Which he can then choose that spot. Edited by OffroadRunner

It might not stop glitching but they could of made it to acutely keep track of glitchers, we might even see a nice fat warning for future glitching :p

 

As for the content, could care less about the DLC, all I care about is the content creator.
