How many Crews can you be in?

So i made a crew already with a few close friends

 

but as i play i keep getting invited to other crews of people who meet online,

 

is it possible to be in more than one crew?

 

if so how does it work?

 

what will become of the crew i created?

 

what will my crew tag and crew logo be if I'm in more than 1 crew?

 

Will one crew be my main one ?

Five is your maximum but you can only raise your skill in the "active" crew you are in.

If i change my active crew will my rank stay the same in the one i leave when i come back to it as my active crew again?

Yes, because you legitimately made that level in your crew. You can even set custom names for each of those levels, IE: in my crew I set the name to God from King Pin for the fun of it along with all the other names. The web page will let you know if you pick R* bad words though, lol.

So once ur in a few crews....... best to switch ur active crew depending on who ur playing with at that moment in time, to max ur RP ?

All up to you really. If you just want to be a part of a crew to jump into their games, you can use this to your advantage from the Starting Online screen. If you want to specifically climb the ranks of a crew to show your worth, then leave that one as your "active".

That is about the only useful way of looking at it.

Is this done through the SC site? Is it only the crew leader who can make these changes?

Only the Owner and possibly a Commissioner of the crew can change those options. If you hold your mouse over the "I" next to where your name is in the hierarchy if will let you know what you can change.

Not sure how many customization options you have "in game".
