AB0333
@AceKingston Of course, Pakistan is now going through what Bosnia came through 20 years ago, but it's still not a reason not to post this topic here. @theadmiral You're very welcome. It's actually my duty to deliver the truth to you. Many lives were given for this country, so we must let everyone know it. As acmilano said, it's peace, but there's always hatred and bigotry, and there will always be. The shortest answer to your question is: Hell no. It's even worse now, because of centralization. Serbs concentrated themselves in certain parts of the country, Croats in others, and Bosniaks in others. Before the war, people were 'mixed', but now everyone went on their sides. Even worse is, the system is organized like that. Our government is three-headed. There is one Bosniak, one Croat and one Serb, representatives for each nation. And that's only in Federation. Republic of Srpska has its own government. Saddest thing is, each day, that non existent republic is looking more and more like a state for itself, tending to connect to Serbia, and nobody gives a sh*t. However, it's true that nobody wants another war. These people went through so much losses and deaths, we all do want a normal state, which will offer us education, jobs and a normal life, but that's not going to happen until Bosniaks become the one and only nation in Bosnia. This 3-sided thing is apparently not working. It's hard to even describe how low life standards are here, compared to eg. your country, Great Britain. Here, having a car is luxury. For most people, when someone here buys a 15,000$ car (which is enough to buy a new Škoda Fabia with anorexic equipment package) it's like buying a 70,000$ car in your country. All I want to say is, lots of people earn so little money that it's only enough for surviving from a month to month. Thank God, my family has a really good financial status, but people around here can't afford many things that people in others countries imply to have, while here it's a prestige. Everything is underrated, we're underpaid, education, science, knowledge, culture and sport aren't valued, it's all about politicians taking bribes and increasing their payrolls. There is even a law in the constitution which says that their payrolls cannot be reduced. Everything is so complicated that, if even things started running smooth right now, it would take 100 years to put all things in order. That's why many people run from here, as soon as they get chance, it's so called brain-drain, to afford themselves a normal life.
