How to get BF Dune Buggy Online

Please can someone send a dune buggy my way? I'm after one with the metal hood AND roof cloth.

I'll take one with the metal hood only at the least but no rollcage buggies.

My PSN is also my screen name here.

I can trade an Asea, fully modded.

Ayes,

If they are in multiplayer then they are the most elusive vehicle in all of GTA. I've spend at least 20 hours of the course of the last few weeks doing nothing but looking for this buggy online, It doesn't spawn in online naturally. The only way I think it could is if somehow someone was driving one around in an online session and it caused one to spawn.

Still looking on Xbox, will be on most nights after 9pm est if someone can help out.

I know of four places they spawn online. I showed you guys two. They other is in the Mt. Chiliad trail going up and the other is in Paleto Bay way up north.

They do not spawn online and other than you, nobody I have talked to both in game and on this and other forums have seen one spawn online.

I would like nothing more than to be wrong about this, but unless you already have one, or just happen to be near a spawn that was triggered by someone who was already driving one the don't appear.

I have looked for at least 20 hours, doing nothing but driving tractors and BF Injections and flying over known spawn locations and then destroying anything that wasn't a buggy and driving and flying away to get another vehicle to spawn and rinse and repeat. I've gone to known spawn locations, set my respawn to last location and kept choosing "find new session" from the menu 100's of times..

If it was as easy as just finding one, I would have it by now. It's possible that it's a PS3/XBOX difference and that may be why you see them and I don't. I don't know, but it's driving me batsh*t crazy.

I find Dune Buggys all the time in Paleto Bay on the beach...

Just because you aren't looking in the right places at the right time doesn't mean something doesn't happen.

Drive from the parking lot with the bike rentals and parachute jump across from the lumber mill... drive down the dirt road till you get to the shacks on the beach with street lights, and the buggy spawns at the first one... I've found it spawns more if you drive an off-road vehicle.

i haven't found it at the airfield shack, but i rarely go over that way so i don't check.

ill upload the picture out of my phone of the buggy spawn a little later.

They do spawn online, but the trick is that someone driving in one has to be nearby to trigger the spawn. I know this because I accidentally found two spawn points while driving in mine. One is the already-mentioned golf club road between SS Airfield and the prison.

The second one I found by accident is right up the road from that, parked next to a building with a bunch of junk next to it:

You can also pull one out of the Chopper Tail mission, but I learned the hard way that you actually have to follow the chopper and kill the cops, or it won't work. I can drive you out in the desert with my Dune and force the spawn. I'm on 360, GT is IH8PITT. Drop me a message.

BTW. i do know they spawn more frequently with driving a buggy, but I think just any off road vehicle is enough. My last one spawned driving a BOBCAT 4x4
0_0.jpg
(found again in Paleto Bay driving a frogger...shortly after finding a buggy driving on the road by the Sandy Shores airfield)

if it wasn't harder to find, it wouldn't be much of a rare car...

I believe, and this is just a theory, that they do spawn online, but only if someone in the session is already driving one. If you start up a closed session and nobody is driving one, they don't.

ask one of the people offering to find one for you since you can't....

I've asked on this very thread many times. Seems like most of the people that have them are on PS3. I'm on Xbox.

Edit: Just saw IH8PITT's post, I'll definitely take you up on that. I'll be online tonight and all weekend.

I'm driving around the desert area looking for BF Dune Buggy spawn points and trying to document them. I found 2; one in Paleto Bay that is probably known already, and one on the south side of the Alamo Sea, where the Zancudo River meets it. OP, feel free to put this information on spawn points in your post. Trying to help everyone out, because the Dune is an awesome ride. Here are some photos:

Anyone with the 'cage' version of this on xbox willing to dupe it for me please? I'm on now gt: Tiddys2k

IH8PITT was able to help me out, so I would like to pass it forward. Make sure to watch videos and learn how to dupe it and get it into your garage (need 10 car garage). We will be using the method where you get in the passenger seat and start a mission. Then drive it to your garage, once in the garage, you walk out and end the mission and it should be yours, you will have to glitch for insurance. I'll be on later tonite.

EDIT:Oh, wait, I don't think I have the cage version, but you should be able to get it just going to the spawn locations with another buggy.

Nex, that buggy is awesome!

For those who are looking for the "cage" version: I don't know if it spawns in GTAO. I've seen the no-body version several times, but the one that spawns always has the cloth top.

Nex, thanks :)

If it's the version with the front body cover (like your real life one!) then i'd be happy with one of those too, if you're willing to help me out :)

So you have to glitch the buggy into your garage every time you use it, not just the first time?

Yeah, but there are easier ways. Changing sessions will put it back in the garage if you have it set to spawn at your property when you enter a game. You can drive to your apartment, get out, walk into the garage, and drive a new car out. Or, what I usually do, get out of the car, go about 3-4 blocks away, and call the mechanic for a different vehicle.

All of these methods will put it back into the garage instantly.

Do you know how to glitch the insurance on it?

If anyone has one on ps3 and don't mind duping it then add me militant_b_87

In turn of course I'd be happy to dupe it for anyone else.

I found only one by this little house near the Sandy Shores airfield.

I have both versions in my garage, uncovered and covered. They're a blast offroad.
