That's pretty harsh dude. Was this on Xbox or ps3? These dickheads need to be stopped before its too late.

I suppose without a working console your friend won't be able to find out who did it so they can file a complaint.

Software error won`t "break" a console. It will just freeze it a bit, which can be fixed with a restart .

I got the RRoD immediately after having my console frozen by a modder when playing TBoGT.

But tbh R* is to blame for not either patching the dupe glitch to limit these attackers or fix the freezing issue. I personally want a tow truck just for stealing peoples cars and stuff but i wouldn't go near one as i am not a c**t.

Each time my console froze, a restart fixed it. Two times in GTA 5 (not tow truck related), once in TLOU and once or twice in AC, I think. None bricked it.
