For the first time since playing, I lost interest in .. everything.

 

No missions. No money. No cars. No crews or jobs.

 

Just fooling around - didn't care about anything.

 

 

Started honing my flying skills! Ran to airport and stole a frogger. Started landing on buildings and walking around. Seeing the sights up north. Cruising around the sea. It was kind of relaxing!

 

Found out you have a good 10 seconds of flyover on Fort Z before you get a four star, so I'll have to find out some way to use that. DIdn't find the Buzzard that I wanted, but It was nice aerial scouting the perimeter w/o getting zapped instantly.

 

Sort of enjoying the chopper thing. If you call the 1k Merryweather chopper, can you kill the guy and take it?

 

If you buy a chopper, how is it delivered?

Yes, you can steal merryweathers chopper by killing the pilot, but they will black list you for "X" amount of time for it. When you buy a chopper you call Pegasus and they spawn it at a random/closest airstrip.

Well that's no good.. I was hoping for a personal delivery. If I'm driving to the airstrip why wouldn't I just grab a chopper that is already there?

 

 

Is the MW blacklist a long time? You say X.. is that a random number?

I haven't timed it, but I think it's around 10 min IRL.

 

And a lot of people have been complaining about Pegasus delivery. Many say they call when they are close to LS airport and it spawns out in BC at Trevors airstrip. I've never bought one though, just use the ones that spawn on the map.

I think the shun is a 5-10 minute thing. I kill the guy at the beginning of a mission. When we get back to the lobby after the mission, we find a new one, start it...and then I'll call in another ride. So if the average mission is 5-10...that pretty much covers it. You can't call them for ANYTHING because they've blacklisted you for that time period though...so call your mercs in before the chopper if you're looking to use them at the same time.

I usually end up driving around trying to find the biggest jumps and do off the wall things. Continue to get my number of stolen cars up as high as I can, etc...

Not trolling... The buzzard and such that spawn in free-roam, wheather it's at trevors airstrip, hopital, etc... aren't they rank restricted? As in they won't spawn for you unless you're of certain rank? Or am I completely off-base?

Riding my BMX is my go to activity for some down time. Either that or hit some stunt jumps.

 

One thing I've particularly started enjoying is purposely getting a bounty on my head and finding a free roam littered with players. I get a buzz off the chase and toying with their gullible souls. I survived a 7k bounty being out in the open for the most part and killed so many people in the process. Not retreating to my apartment felt rewarding in the end as I got to really cause havoc in this specific free roam. I got killed once in the middle of it all but only by some merryweather mercenaries some fool wasted his money on.

 

Visiting the Altruist cult up in the mountains can be a good laugh too, take someone random from the lobby with you and wait for their reaction.

 

There's quite literally always something to do.

Scenic Tourist is a new one for me. Buzzed some research center up north. No one anywhere around. Various trailer parks out in the middle of nowhere. All those NW coastal areas that no one has any reason to go to.

 

Then I would blaze down the middle of the street where the most players congregate at around 50 ft over. When I'd get shot at and started to smoke, just fly to airport and get a new one. Was actually pretty fun. DIdn't realize that some of the high rises have parachutes spawning on top of them so that was cool.

That I have idea of. I only found out about it from a friend after I was already 50.

Good to know! I meant fooling around as in shooting airplane hikinks. No Gang War at all. Just general player shenanigans. All other copter locations welcome!

The bounty system allows for some epic action, especially if you have the bounty on your head. I love getting in a helicopter and fly high over people on the radar, everybody swarms in looking for me but never look up lolol
