What's the point in garages?

Seriously, what's the point in all the external garages?

 

I have an apartment with a 10 car garage. On the website there's all these wonderful garages I could buy, but you can't. WHY? Being able to own ONLY 10 cars is just stupid. idk what Rockstar were thinking. Especially in Blaine County. Little garage in Blaine County? Delightful, I could leave a Sanchez and an offroad truck there. But wait, you can't! So why is it even there?

 

I hope R* fix this in a patch. Is anyone else disappointing with only being able to have 10 cars? It's f*cking pathetic.

The point is that they are meant to be a starting point. i.e. Before you buy an apartment.

 

I agree that you should at least be able to own a separate garage as well though.

He means why cant you own more than one, and I agree, its f*cking retarded, 250 vehicles in the game and you get to keep 10, hooray! f*cking lame rockstar, major fail. you should be able to buy them all, or maybe even a 30 car warehouse garage or something, 10 spots is a joke, and a bad one.

Seriously! If it was a space issue they could of just made the car garages like the helipads, menu select.

I'm not too bothered about garages but it would be nice to be able to own a few different properties.
