Horrible performance last few days

Whats with the pop in and texture rendering lately? The game also locks up for a couple seconds once in awhile...all started after the last patch for me(xbox).

 

Its really bad after a mission, sometimes the road and buildings wont even load for 30 seconds to a minute.

I get this a lot too recently. One of those adds while the game is loading says it is due to one or more people having a bad connection to the server. Glad it's not just me though.

It's a pain in the tits when you're in a race and slipstreaming the car in front, when he suddenly glitches up in the air, turns invisible, then reappears further down the road.
