Minigun greyed out in survival?

Hey.

Im doing some survival missions. When I get hold of a minigun its mostly greyed out?

 

 

I know i have to be lvl 120 to actually get it, but its avalability in survival is inconsistent. Sometimes I can use it, sometimes not.

 

If I select the minigun before another round starts, im usually good to go, but if I at some point select another weapon, it gets greyed out again.

 

Anyone?

You can't use the minigun while in cover.

Are you perhaps covering lol? You need tobe standing up and not covering.
