Does anybody who's played a first person shooter actually enjoy this auto aim luck fest?

First of all, you have to worry about invincible players who spawn near you, because there is no

beating them.

Then you have to hope you check the radar at just the right moment, or else you get auto aimed at from far away.

If it was free aim and player blips off, Deathmatch would actually be somewhat about skill.

Might sound dickish but then go play a free aim deathmatch? Just sayin, crazy idea and all.

Average white guy

Well things need to be easy for little kids.

I mean there are two threads chock full of pro free aim people so you shouldn't have a hard time finding people to get a group going. Or just post a thread in the find groups section and should have some luck there as well.

I dunno, I've heard there's separate lobbies for free aim and auto aim users. Try finding a dm in a free aim one.

Go back into GTAV Story mode.
Change your control settings to Free-Aim.
Go back on GTA Online.

Voila! Free-Mode, Missions, Survival and Deathmatches are now all in free-aim.

This is the sole reason why 90% of the mission lobbies are played with people using AUTO AIM. Yeah some chose to have auto aim on but most of the people DON'T KNOW about the setting to go to free aim. Did people in GTA4 have a similar problem not knowing how to switch to free aim?

Why the hell isnt there a seperate setting in multiplayer?

We have to change it in single player, and then its all or nothing? No playing free roam in auto aim but death match in free aim?

For a game with so much customization, they really screw up the basics.

Well, you could play Freemode in Auto-Aim and then when you decide to play a Deathmatch, pause the game and exit online. It will quickly take you back to single player. Then change your aim settings and re-connect to online. Then find your deathmatch. As of now, it's the only way to do it.

I despise the obnoxious mini-map blips and overly accurate lock-on auto-aim in deathmatch.

What's really pissing me off these days is that doing well in Deathmatch penalizes you by showing everyone your blip. If you are leading the match, you are highlighted for everyone to see. Even if you're hiding and not shooting. It's absurd.

Universal-Shot

Unfortunately this child friendliness is apparent in alot of modern mature games.

An 18 year old gamer that plays GTA simulation game that is 50% shooting and 50% travelling. And the shooting part is automatically controlled by the game.

The only thing I hate about DM are those annoying colours that appear on your screen if you are good. So bloody annoying.

I find it kind of funny about so many posts on this forum filled with so many people that call them selves hard core free-aim then come here bitching that online deathmatch is not free-aim.

You just proved to everyone here that you played the single player game in auto-aim totally debunking your ideals of free-aim or nothing.

I use auto aim in single player and free roam because it's not competitive.

Death match is ALL about killing other players...so it's not even fun when the key to winning is locking on first.
