Different people see the game differently. Some people see free roam as a free for all death match. Some people have trusted random people and every time they betray them, so they pre-emptively kill anybody that gets too close. Some people just want a sparring partner and make the first move. Driving around not fighting can be boring if you're looking for free roam pvp.

 

I walk around chill. Take cover if someone approaches. If they shoot or even aim at me I will open fire. If they approach unarmed I will see them as friendly and give them the benefit of the doubt.

 

that's what I do most of the time, in most case I roam around unarmed

these days I even roam with my bicycle, so I have to be extra alert if someone come close

last night a saw another player with motobike approch but she didnt shot, and we even roam around with our own bike

but there are always PVP guy around, even in the GTA4 era, free mode always means PVP with no limite and reward...

The definition of a griefer is someone who has fun by not letting you have fun. How does killing an afk player ruin their fun. They are afk and not playing. That word is really over used.

 

There are many ways to safely go afk and if someone doesn't want to take simple precautions they get what they deserve.

Or start any job/activity solo or drop into story mode. Find new session starts you off in your apartment. Very quick and simple ways to be safe.

 

Edit: no need for name calling. It's just more spam people have to scroll past. Staring at me is creepy in a game or rl anyways.

I am friendly with randoms too, but I always stay behind cover as well, and out of sticky bomb range too. At least until I am fairly sure they won't attack me. And if they do attack me, I can survive it and pay them back.

My point was that I just sit there in the car DOING NOTHING. Why f*cking shoot me unless you were neglected as a child

Why does everyone equate a vagina to being weak? Seriously, female genitals can take a lot of abuse where as male genitals can't take any. If anything the word dick should be equated to being weak since one kick there and a guy goes down in pain.

Okay idiots let me clarify... Yes this game is about killing but when you see someone unarmed trying to be friendly. Why kill them? Are you stupid? How do you even have friends online then? Probably don't.

I just go next to the idling person and wait to see if he wants to roll together but when he kills me then he starts war and it's stupid.

well, the game is a self described crime simulator... since when did a criminal need a reason to blow you up? again, if you have a problem, play solo, invite only, friend only, or crew only. but you can't expect people who don't know or care about you in the slightest to play nice in gta do you? I mean, do you really have that much faith in humanity? really?

 

and careful how you word your titles, that may be looked at as a challenge by some... ...just sayin.

if you perform during a mission. show map knowledge beyond the gps, creative use of explosives or weapons, etc. we may end up friends. I might invite you to my party, etc.

I've done a lot of missions with newly made friends. I've never been killed by them after.

 

If you can't trust anyone then you're not trying hard enough to find someone you can trust.
