why did rockstar disable armoured trucks?

Been playing ALL day in the city. Haven't seen a single truck to rob

 

What gives?

i was wondering that too. i feel like i have only ever seen a handful during my entire time playing

i robbed one for $11,824 about an hour ago.

must be random and we are just unlucky. or maybe it has to do with the amount of people in sessions for a certain length of time?

they're random if you do find one near be very quick in taking out the driver and be on your guard, i had another player kill me while i was shotgunning the truck's rear doors.

They're completely random it seems. Sometimes I see none for days, then all of a sudden lots appear over the course of an hour.

they have to be unlocked for everyone in the lobby for them to appear.

 

try going into an invite only session and see if one comes up it should straight away

there is one thing i've noticed recently when i rob a armored truck i get a message saying the money has fallen out but i haven't found any.

I didn't see a single truck for weeks after unlocking them.

 

Then I followed the advice mentioned on this forum about starting an 'invite only' session.

Immediately after starting that session, I got a call from Lester (make sure you answer his call) which stated that armored trucks are around.

 

Since then, I've been seeing them regularly in solo and open sessions.

Nope. I've been in Invite-only sessions and they're still extremely rare. Until the moment they start spawning repeatedly.
