I'm so happy someone finally said this. Anyways, I pre-ordered it on Psn yesterday, I'm excited for but not as much as I was when AC 3 came out. ROCKGTASTAR
After that embarrassing tech demo they showed at E3? Hell no! What's worse is that the demo was next gen and it crashed on a live demonstration? Lovely! Edited October 29, 2013 by ROCKGTASTAR

Problems with an early version of the game that in no way represents the final product at its full technological potential? And it crashed during a conference? Unforgivable crime! This should be moved, by the way. Edited October 29, 2013 by Xerukal

This should be moved, by the way. Considering that Ubisoft's previous game demos have never crashed like that before makes me very skeptical, demo's like this shouldn't even have potential crashes, not unless the game developer is that incompetent to not make a well presented demo in the first place? Plus, after Assassin's Creed III, I am convinced that the series has derailed from what it used to be. Plus, after Assassin's Creed III, I am convinced that the series has derailed from what it used to be. These things happen. They don't happen often. The series has not derailed. Branched out, I would say. Risking and trying new things. Not staying the same for so long, like some other franchises. As someone who has followed AC since the announcement of the first game, and someone who has been playing it since the Director's Cut PC version, I respect this approach. The approach of just going new directions for a bit. I admit, they really should go back to their roots in a future game. But for now, I'm interested to see what they have in mind and how much they're willing to risk alienating some people. Hopefully, they draw a line. Thanks for the reminder, you're right, they did show everything on high end PC, which in that case makes the demo crashing worse? Just goes to show how incompetent Ubisoft has become these days. I miss the old Ubisoft! Edited October 29, 2013 by ROCKGTASTAR
Lelouch The Zero
Damn right I'm getting it. Even if Desmond isn't in it, I've heard that he'll still be mentioned, so that's cool.

I miss the old Ubisoft! Why are you drawing all of these conclusions that Ubisoft is somehow instantly incompetent and inept because a game presentation crashed on them ONCE? They aren't well-programmed machines capable of predicting mistakes in calculation and rectifying them before they even happen. They're human. Just like you and everyone else at Ubisoft. "Game crashed during E3. That's it, Ubisoft has gone downhill. I'm out". I don't want to sound like I'm constantly slobbering their dick here. But it's common logic that these things will happen. No matter how hard you work to iron out all the little things and prepare it for E3. They'll just happen because you can't predict them. Yes, a game crashing on your high-end system isn't exactly a little thing. But it falls under the category of minor complications when you're talking about an early build of the game. ROCKGTASTAR
Nah, the series is just getting milked now, I mean what's next Assassin's Creed V in 2014? Ever since Assassin's Creed II, the series has gotten worse and worse. I guess there's an old saying in this. Too many chefs spoil the broth! Lost interest after forcing myself to complete Assassin's Creed III, which is probably the most broken game I've ever played in recent years and the fact that I spent £40.00 on it is a real good kick in the bollocks.
