Weasel News should let you know how many viewers you have watching you

Been racing my entire time so far. Finally last night I sat and watched the TV online. Watching idiots run from the police on Weasel is pretty damn funny. After watching three guys put on fairly lame shows I decided I could do better.

 

On my third run I made it all the way around the island on 3 stars, giving a clinic on cop evasion as I stayed on the main highway. But now I wonder if anyone was watching?

 

And whats it take to get 4 stars these days with just cops? I even got out a few times to shoot more cops, stayed 3 stars. Im killing your buddies, going full Dorner, and you arent getting a full rage on?

 

The TV needs an system where if you are on tv, it says how many viewers you have watching live. As a viewer, you can send a Cheer or a Boo. On the runners screen he sees a quick popup "Xxxx just Cheered You" or Yyyy just Boo'd You". If I have a good audience, I'll prolong the chase and carnage.

I was thinking it would be a good idea to know if and how many people are watching you but on second thought you'd feel obligated to entertain then, even if you really just wanted to get the car to Simeon without a scratch...id feel pressured and paranoid haha

 

Love watching others tear it up though lol. Its what use the apartment for, taking a break to watch others go f*cking nuts.

Yeah, not the best headline you'd want to leave with.

Maybe they can make a patch/update where you can check the Bleeter thing, the parody of Twitter, and it would have how many people were watching said person at the time of their 15 minutes of fame (or much less).

 

Personally, I don't care. Just a thought. = )

I'd like this idea, specially the ability to cheer or jeer the player. Maybe be able to send in help or to hinder his progress. I wish Weasel would also cover the free roam battles from time to time, its only ever people being pursued by the popo.

I totally dig weasel news on my apartment tv. And as good as R* is at making GTA have random events happen based on whats going on, it would be cool to have more interaction or funny captions on the screen.

 

As for the helicopter idea. Maybe the News Chopper would only fly in when someone has been watching you for a certain number of seconds. Like after 30 seconds, a chopper starts following you until they change the channel. And the twist is, at night they have the spot light on you so it makes it harder to hide..... unless you shoot the chopper down.

I think I'd die of laughter watching most of these people go crazy. "Crazy local man has a deadly shoot-out whilelist trying to obtain his crack back. Police then bring in the S.W.A.T team but the crazy local man annihilates them.
