Will R* punish for car duping?

I don't see how having a car like Frank's Buffalo will in anyway alter the advantage you have among other players, so it'd be really stupid of them to punish players who have duped cars just imo

Hopefully they realize why people are duping cars... it's because they were either a)too lazy or b)too incompetent to put all the cars in online... and they'll make all cars available that way we don't have to go through the trouble.

Or they could pull an EA, take all the "special" cars away that were duped, and make those cars part of a DLC that costs.

Don't know. Will just have to wait and see. You would think they wouldn't, seeing as how only one or two people are probably responsible for the vehicles being online and thousands of players have them who had nothing to do with puttin them in GTAO.

I can totally see them trying to patch them out and then screwing up everyone's garages (on accident) in the process.

I don't believe that players will receive any sort of punishment for vehicle duplication, although I believe Rockstar will either fix the issues with the tow truck and legitimately place it into the game, or they will completely remove all illegitimately acquired vehicles.

I've only duped a F620 for a friend who lost his and got a slightly tuned Sentinel from him. I've also been modifying a jeep for my crew and fell like duping them later on so we could have more than one for missions. Hope I don't get into trouble for doing it, really.

 

At least I haven't duped anything that shouldn't be in Online (Like the Space Docker or Franklin's Buffalo).

I got myself 2 cars but I might delete them (Blow up/replace with car then blow that car up) because I feel bad for glitching something...

I wonder, why don't they just make the Space Docker available online after completing the SP spaceship parts challenge? It's not like the Space Docker is a particularly powerful car, and I'm sure making it be "legally" available for anyone who completes the challenge not just motivates players to go back to SP but would also make it rewarding.

They won't do jack.

 

They will probs fix the tow trucks so they don't bug out games, and they may add the non-online cars into online just to straighten things out if they can be bothered.

I doubt it, probably ban if it's a car you can't normally get.

 

Yeah ban customers, good strategy that.

 

More likely it'd just disappear from garage, maybe a trip to the cheater pool to deter you in the future.

Now how would R* know who are the ones that did the duping ? There's a thousand of Space Dockers and Bufallo Sports right now, and a lot of them are the ones who own the cars only not duping them.

I'm pretty sure the server records would show up who was doing the duping, it wouldn't be that hard to spot.

I just want a special decal or emblem on my car, t-shirt, special shirt, limited gun, or maybe a special car for getting 100% completion...I feel like I got cheated out of it other than the satisfaction of doing everything and an achievement.

The space docker has insurance with 125k. Rockstar could've been planning to put the space docker in a future dlc if the car has insurance online

i expect them to patch stuff up and maybe ban a few ppl that went overboard with the LSC glitch and be done
