What do you think heists will be like online?

I have a feeling they won't be as good as people expect. I'd be surprised if you got more than 100k per heist, and there will most likely be a "cooling off" period so you cant do a heist for a while. IMO the single player heists sucked (except the sandy shores one) and it was all scripted and planned for you, not this "plan everything yourself" thing we were hearing before release. By the looks of it, it's only going to be the small Fleeca banks that can be robbed (for now anyway) so there probably wont be a big pay off.

I wouldn't mind a heist like "Gone in 60 Seconds". A list of certain cars that need to be boosted within a certain time. As well as something like a VIP kidnapping mission where the target has near Presidential type security. I don't want some run and gun type heist. I'd rather have ones that I can plan out with friends so we can talk strategy. I feel however doing them with random people will make it harder because not everyone is on the same page.

My guess is stages like go in, hold 'em up like stores, shootout with a bunch of cops, lose cops in vehicle, get back to hideout/apt.

 

Standard stuff. I hope they just split the cash rather than let someone split it up, lol.

Every step of the job is painstakingly difficult in whatever mechanics it uses. Every enemy is like wyatt earp incarnate and can ping you in the dome in a heartbeat. And every escape/chase section of them should be like something out of a michael bay movie

Hopefully longer then the SP heist.

 

There should be more prep missions which have to be done by certain players. The driver of the crew/heist has his/her own prep missions, gunner missions, hacker, etc. that must be completed by that player to progress in the heist.

 

Seeing as how there was no word of when we'll be getting heist in the latest newswire update, we most likely won't be seeing heist until late december or early 2014.

I'm curious to see if they offer choices like a quiet and loud option, and then if the majority of players vote on that option then its chosen. I'm also curious if it will have planning involved like the SP heists like where you have to go and get the terminators van etc. As for payouts I'd count on either a cool down like mentioned above or just nerfing of the money value

I really doubt there will be much more prep work, than make sure you have weapons and take a car with you. There will likely be some various options while robbing the banks, like a fast and loud or a stealthy way like sneaking in the back. Might have scripted scenes where someone is cracking a code, they might actually add a mini-game feature where you can get better at opening locked doors, etc.

 

But no way they will be longer and more detailed than the single player heist missions.

I like the mini game idea as mentioned before. Hopefully teammates provide cover so you can crack it safely. But who knows we will see if this becomes half assed or not.

Oh they are letting someone split it up, I expect people to be screwed over from time to time, it will be amazing

I loved the heist in GTA IV, and loved the heists in GTA V.

Maybe, a heist they can include is stealing money from a vault in a rich dude's house that has security like the Death From Above mission. I don't know, lets hope they get creative.

They just need to pay well.... Please R*
