Anybody else miss the muscle cars?

My biggest gripe with GTAV is the lack of muscle cars. It's nice to see new ones added, but they took away so much more. No G-Body whips like the 80's Monte, Regal, and Cutlasses that were in GTA IV. Having cars that I can actually afford or own makes me relate to the game that much more.

MY biggest gripe is that they watered down the most likable/relatable characters story (Trevor) with two other characters, one mainly to drop the N word 100 times.

At least the muscle cars in V actually have some muscle. It was annoying having cheap 90's sedans (Primo) outperform custom 750HP muscle cars (Dukes).

I agree they used the "n" word more than is actually necessary. Its like they went overboard just because they can.

Kinda just makes me hit the mute button every time I play franklin just so I don't hear that repeated literally every other word. Its not even offensive or shocking...its just overly repetitive.

As for muscle cars, well if you ALSO play the PC version of the GTA series then you'll likely have a chance to add some *real* muscle cars then, tweak them etc, as long as R* remains mod-friendly. The in-game modding might work out very well for the talented modders

 

As for the use of the "N" word, I suppose its like profanity right, some ppl think its necessary to use it at all or incessantly to make some kind of impression... Either way, its really not necessary, unless its your prerogative, I suppose. For some its all they know or care to know.

I miss the Dukes from IV and the Tampa from BOGT I think adding the turbo upgrade to a Faction would of been awesome! I'm very happy with the Sabre Turbo, it was one of my favs from IV and I'm using the Vigero since the Dukes isn't in the game. I don't like that the Gauntlet has NO CUSTOMIZATION that's Lame! I wish we could of got a new Camaro but instead we got 2 Chargers a Challenger and a Mustang

They seriously need to bring the Imponte Dukes and the Bravado Tampa back. Absolutely NO reason to leave them out, they were the best looking muscle cars in GTA 4.

I guess you've never "hung out" in "the hood", because they most certainly do...as well as the idiots I have to hear on their mics when playing online

To be honest I loved playing as Franklin and hearing Lamar say a racial slur every second word. Not to be racist or anything, it just reminded me of San Andreas with CJ and Ryder mostly.

Half Challenger no way, more like 95% Challenger 5% Camaro and it has no spoiler If you take the Gauntlet to Los Santos Customs there's no customization for it.

95% Challenger, 5% Camaro? Try it the other way around, the only recognizable feature of a Dodge Challenger that I see on the Gauntlet is the side fascia. The rest is pure Camaro.

 

Take it from a shameless Dodge fanboy, that is NOT a Challenger, as much as I'd love a Challenger in GTA V. That 'Maro with its lack of customization left me sorely disappointed. That and the failure to bring back the '69 Charger (Dukes).

Not really muscle, but I still think they oughta' bring a classic Beetle in, especially considering Volkswagen culture in southern Cali. >.>;

EDIT: The BF Injection doesn't count, it's cool and all but it's a Baja Bug.

 

On the topic of cars that actually DO count as muscle I'd like to see a fox body Mustang Cobra *coughbravuracough* and maybe the return of some "vintage" models from the III era including the VC Banshee, possibly retconned into being a Coquette, and the Clover from SA, or another Elegant we can turn into a 90s Impala SS.
