Might as well set the next GTA in Uganda or some other poor African country. At least it would be midly entertaining. I found it contained within the code of the latest patch update of GTA V, along with weapon names, character names, subtitles from the plot, and lots of other stuff. Detroit nowadays is just a forgotten metropolis on the verge of collapse, though are are some decent areas still and the place does have a good history of music and automobiles. Not willing to share any proof though. Even if you still "Share proof" i will still call BS on that since 1. Why the hell would GTA VI assets be in a GTA V patch since it will most likely use a different game engine and it would be on next gen, hell why would that info be in a patch to begin with? 2. They wouldn't even likely start development until november or even later. So its pretty much impossible for the characters and plot to be fully written after merely 2 months after V. We need a snowy Seattle or Alaska and the alcohol issues in Alaska. I would actually love to have it set in two cities, with two characters. One would be from Carcer city and would show all the grittiness of America, and the other would be from Vice city, rich and would show the lavish side. Gutslab Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) Part of the reason Detroit has failed as a real life city because its not really attractive or designed well on a street level.. no it failed due to massive corruption, mismanagement of funds, heavy taxes and other bad decisions that put it into an economic crisis and made many people move away. the unattractiveness of the city in it's current state(crime rate, abandoned homes, slow or non-existent public services) are just results of what's come out of a bankrupt city. I feel like it would be quite boring in Britian itself. It would be sweet and if someone could come up with a convincing map and concept for it you never know it may work out.
