I know what you mean, well it's the only way I got it to install and run the files needed for the apps to run. Hopefully the PS app coming November won't be like this which I highly doubt. Bertanius
Wow, I'm amazed they actually released it, now I can finally train Chop. What genius at Rockstar decided it would be smart to force consumers into getting an application just to use some content, like train Chop? Honestly, it's a joke, why not have that stuff in the game, with an optional application to do it while not playing the game? I'm suspicious all these companies paid Rockstar to make this application, which would force consumers into buying one of their phones. Clever marketing move, Rockstar... WildBrick142
Ok, this is how I got it installed on my phone. Delete any previous installations of the apps. Step 1: Download the files from my previous post gtaforums.com/topic/640378-ifruit-for-android-officially-released/#entry1063919889 Step 2: Download AirDroid, it's a free Wifi-Computer App that lets you manage anything in your phone and also allows you to install apps from the computer Step 3: Launch Airdroid on your phone and on the computer by going to this link Start AirDroid. Sign in using either an existing account or make one. Have to sign in on both the phone and computer with same account. Step 4: You should now see this on your computer screen. Simply follow the instructions and you should be setup. Step 5: Verify installation on the phone and run the app, should be able to download the files for the app to run. That's it. Still doesn't work Gray Wolf

socialgarbage
Running it (barely) on a Galaxy Note 2 with 4.1.2. Everything is choppy as hell, but it does all work, and the loading time is pretty hateful for everything in it.
Woody112
A few weeks too late. Nobody really cares now. Funny how they can create amazing games for numerous platforms, yet couldn't make a f*cking app that works on two different OS's.It was likely a paid exclusive. Karoi
It's not R*'s fault android is so fragmented. It's Rockstars fault for releasing this insanely late (didn't have to be that way...) and they didn't test it right. So yeah, it's their fault. RowanSane
It's not R*'s fault android is so fragmented. This is probably part of the reason iOS got it first, so many variations in droid. Works fine on my Nexus 7 running pure unadulterated 4.3. Then there's the hardware requirements to consider though they're not tooooo high. Wants a dual core and 1gb ram if I recall...
