Yeah, the supercars, racing , yachts , casinos really make it perfect combined with the ritzy locale and some of the seedier parts of marseille for crime jobs . I'm imaging boat smuggling of drugs and weapons and all sorts of other things . I agree las ventures and San fiero have a better chance but I think overall this is a better idea.

Who honestly wouldn't want a Super Yacht as their personal apartment to plan heists, sail around the mediterranean, chill out with your friends in the sun, etc?

 

Who wouldn't want to see a cool casino like Monte Carlo added?

 

Who wouldn't want to see more European super cars and European hatchbacks in the game?

I wouldn't at all...

I love American cars, like some European cars I honestly wouldn't want to see more...

 

as for a casino any casino would be fine I don't need monte carlo (one in los santos already even though in RL I doubt there are any casinos in LA)..

 

a yacht to plan stuff? lol we have an apartment and maybe houses for that..

 

but I mean new maps and scenery im all for it.

I don't see how anyone can oppose more variety of cars even if they prefer American cars to euro ones. I'd love to see hatchbacks Renault , Citroen , Peugeot , whatever not to mention more supercars.

Cote D'azur! Perfect! For a holiday that is. My father grew up there, so I can relate to the location a bit.

 

Would prefer a London based map though. So many parks, sniping spots, banks to rob, a bloody castle! I mean, London is just the ideal place for GTA

Yeah we're "swagging" around LS in our million dollar chrome adder. So much better.

 

Not a bad idea, but I would think that San Fierro, and the Las Vegas one have a better chance of becoming dlc. I love the Yacht idea though.

please... no ! i understand about cote d'azur and monte carlo because it's a place with nice cars, rich people, casinos but nothing to do with GTA. And Marseille ... this town is crap i'll never buy a GTA taking place in Marseille or any town out of USA lmao

Apart from the weather (which doesn't matter much in GTA) London is a far better suggestion. You have such a variety of things to do and places to see.

 

Masses and I mean masses of people everywhere. Perfect if your planning a stealthy bounty kill or assassination of sorts. Multiple high end jewelry stores and banks. The police would also be driving some decent vehicles. Not to mention the black cabs, double deck buses, underground system, River Thames, the sub-urban gang areas and multiple sports stadiums including the Oval (I read somewhere about you're love for cricket).

I like this idea OP. Luxury yacht "apartment" in Monaco and a Vacca parked on the pier. Set waypoint for Chamonix and enjoy the twisting country roads. Mmm..

For the record I'd support London too as you said it would be perfect for cricket if they put in Lords. But I really think the casino, super cars , f1 tie in , yachts , high end jewelry and clothes shops , etc make Monaco perfect. Marseille is the more criminal part and Provence to chamonix is the Blaine county and mount chiliad. It really has everything in one location .

Could any of our French viewers suggest some music that would be appropriate for a radio station from the region?

 

I know the Algerian and Tunisian "Rai" is popular down there but i'm not sure of some cool French bands from the south of France that would be a great atmospheric adddition to this.

 

The Casino is something that has me really intrigued since it is the perfect place to drive up in a super car, walk in in your proper attire, and gamble away (or win) hundreds of thousands. Even James Bond would love to play baccarat or punto banco or whatever there.

anyways idk I honestly feel that America has more variety in cars imo (not sure since I haven't been out of the country besides to Mexico)..

I don't like super cars even in los santos, let alone most foreign cars, maybe I would agree or some-what agre if you were to post some more photos of cars that could appeal to everyone?

 

and as the guy above me posted, I believe this idea is 100 times btter than the "bring zombie mode" idea even if I don't full agree with it.

I'm trying to figure out some specific bands or something that would be popular to add. I think Cheb Mami is popular down there.

 

DO you guys think that Sting song w/ Cheb mami would be appropriate?
