Can't get on starting yesterday (10/27)

Starting yesterday I could no longer get onto GTA Online. Nothing changed on my end as far as my router or internet are concerned, and I have been able to play other games online and am connecting to PSN perfectly fine. Getting the error message: "Failed to host a GTA Online session".

 

Just curious if anyone else is having this problem or if somehow I am the only one who is not able to connect to the GTA servers. Also any ideas on how to fix it would be great.

 

EDIT:

I can get on to play solo but cant join any missions, races, etc from that point even if I stay on my own

Having the exact same problems on xbox since yesterday been doing deathmatches and races all week ect ect then yesterday afternoon go to online and it takes about 5 mins to go into online mode I can walk about and stuff there are other player like usual but I go to a deathmatch it again takes about 5 mins to find one lets me by ammo and armour loads the game and the kicks me out and calls me a bad sport so getting pretty cheesed off now

Do you have a safe house? I had the same problem. If you have it set to spawn you in your safe house then that will be it. There seams to be a new bug that appeared about 4 days ago.

To get around this, join another players session so that you spawn next to them. A friend would work best as they can invite you. Then change your spawn location in options to 'last location'. Let me know if this works for you, it did for me.

Problem is you can no longer use your safe house till Rockstar fix the bug. I tried to enter the garage and it times out after you drive in forcing you to reset.

Rockstar need to know of this bug.

Yea that doesn't work. I can't join any game with another player but if I join as a solo game it gets on but then I can't do any missions or anything still. And when I go into solo I am in my safe house so that's not the problem
