May Contain SPOILERS BELOW You're talking about Tanisha jackson? yeah, she was formally Frank's GF and really good friend of Lamar Davis in " lamar's down" mission she says at a point "i love you and lamar" which indicates they're childhood friends back from the hood. but franklin's need of the money and many other bad habits like hookers,dope etc f*cked their relationship really bad. In the end everyone forgets which were facts and which was guessing, so they just say R* lied to them. Franklin never had a GF, people just assumed he did. Her name is Tanisha. She broke up with Franklin and is engaged to a doctor. You see her in a mission and she asks Franklin to rescue Lamar. Because of the travesty that was dating in GTA IV, they chose not to make it a big thing in V, you can do it, but it doesn't tell you to, hence why myself, you and many others played the game without even thinking about dating and girlfriends. She swings by Franklin's Hill House in a cutscene, and if you're a cutscene skipper, she calls Franklin after the final mission. EDIT: Oh, you mentioned how it's NOT Tanisha, sowwy With that now to my knowledge, I have to say I can't recall R* saying anything like that. People assumed. <snip> With Rockstar's huge talent for making cinematic trailers that easily misrepresent not only gameplay but the nature of the cutscenes' relevance to plot and character (I realize this is a grand tradition in moviemaking), this was just one of many places where Rockstar gladly let us "assume" things about the game. We had almost two years with a few cinematic trailers (including the "gameplay" trailer) to assume things, and yeah, we sure did a lot of assuming. I assumed we were going to get the Game of the Century. Not quite. I will say, we did get the virtual world of the century; it looks beautiful. The story, well .... By the way, Snake, many months late, I want to echo a few people who commented on your excellent signature. Very inspired and fun. I like it every time I see it. It's more like a random chick that he just finished f*ckin and told her that she needs to get the f*ck up on outta here but here's $5 for a cab (cuz u know, u see him escorting her to a taxi cab, showing the gentlemen that he is.)
