koragg
Hi, I've got a problem with importing a custom loading sound to GTA San Andreas. The thing is that when i import my own loading theme (via SAAT) in GENRL (Bank_076) it sounds awesome BUT when I save GENRL and go start my game the loading theme sounds crappy (I mean it has disturbance or something and isn't at all pleasant to listen to).So my question is do I need to change my .wav files bitrate or something like that in order for it to sound just like the normal GTA SA loading theme. Please help me out.I'm stuck on this for weeks now ((( Here's the custom Loading Theme with which I wanna replace GTA SAs original : http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=23076
ZAZ
i assume that the author have tested the mod before uploading i played the wave file with sound tools and it worked fine it's type is 44100 Hz, 16-Bit, Stereo with lengh of 10.408 seconds to mod game sounds, i would say, it should have same type and lengh as the originally sound file the originally waves of GENRL\Bank_076 have 28000 Hz, 16-Bit, Mono the lengh: sound_001.wav: 9.896 sound_002.wav: 9.896 sound_003.wav: 9.899 sound_004.wav: 9.899 sound_005.wav: 9.897 sound_006.wav: 9.897 sound_007.wav: 9.883 sound_008.wav: 9.883 i would make the lengh for the mod sound to ca. 9.8 i changed type and lengh DOWNLOAD, press right mouse button and choose "save as" test it Edited October 28, 2013 by ZAZ CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial

savidge
Mod Loader fixes that Hey LINK/2012, I have ModLoader installed and I replaced the "idle" sound of the Linerunner, Packer etc. vehicles and the sound is only audible when I'm actually stopped, if I'm decelerating then the audio doesn't play. I think the original length of the sound was about 2-3 seconds long but the one I'm using is about 4-5 seconds long. Does ModLoader play sounds of any length or is there a limit? Link2012
I don't know, I just fixed the issue that sound size (in bytes) had to be almost the same as the original, the rest is about the same, but I don't see how sound length affects anything at all. What comes to my mind is the "sound loop offset" field in the sound configuration, the game will start looping the sound when that offset in the sound is reached.
