Stuck as a Bad Sport

So I've been a "bad sport" for the past week now. This is my second stint as a bad sport so the time was like 5 days or some sh*t. So i waited through all of that, yet I'm still a bad sport...? Every time I log on it tells me I have 22 hours left and nothing makes the timer go down. I'm not doing anything to increase the timer (like destroying more personal vehicles) and don't understand why the hell I'm still stuck as a bad sport. Anyone else have any similar issues?
