If this is DLC for GTA Online, it's likely to be free. I believe that's how they plan to release content for GTAO. That said, some of those weapons are using real-life names. Hopefully it's just a placeholder, otherwise it's probably a hoax.

Given they haven't managed to sort out the issues with the existing GTA V, I find it highly unlikely they've spent valuable coding time on what essentially, is a brand new product.

It's some bogus DLC that some guy supposedly found in recent update files. It's already being looked into on these forums. Do a forum or Google search for "The Hunt for North Yankton".

 

They've also dug up some excerpts of dialogue and it clearly looks like they're written by some idiot, with poor sentence structuring and lines that don't fit the characters (nor Dan Houser's quality of writing) in any way. The story itself is like some emo fantasy of a depressed crybaby Niko and Michael and his son Jimmy and Luis Lopez and Gay Tony all ending up in North Yankton for whatever reasons. Yeah right.

 

It's not happening, sorry guys.

I think this actually might be DLC and not Updated content.

 

I think people are confusing the 2.

 

Updated content are items/missions R* can add with an auto update, which would be free.

 

DLC will most likely consist of Singleplayer longer story related content. I might be wrong but at least thats what i think it is.

Rockstar previously said that new DLC for single and online, purely speculation from a Turkish fansite but.. would suggest Yankton will be Story mode with the new weapons and upgrades available in multiplayer. Probably some races/deathmatch thrown in for good measure.

 

WTB bear traps, red dot, and knuckle dusters. WIll be like VC/SA again with the latter 2.

 

Doesn't sound like enough content to charge for it. I reckon it'll be free update.
