why is no one playing deathmatch anymore?

probably because of how unfair it is against lower level players.

 

i was playing like my 2nd deathmatch ever in the whole game and shot a few grenades from my grenade launcher and picked up about 5-6 kills within the first 10 seconds.

Deathmatch isn't this games highpoint, the shooting mechanics are just bad. That's my guess anyway

Yeah. The money sucks for the amount of ammo you use and against higher levels it's pointless. Everytime i join a good 4 people leave the lobby (rank 112). Like he said, if you just shoot the nade launcher in the beginning you can get some COD style luck kills easily.

Higher level players have a huge advantage because their shooting stat is higher. They also have better weapons and better attachments. Throw auto-aim on top of that and its a slaughter.

Because everyone is doing races, thats where the money and the RP is at. Plus the matchmaking is bullsh*t, by putting overpowered players in with underpowered n00bs.

 

GTA Online has effectively became a Gran Turismo clone.

Probably because balance is non-existant in GTA. Last time I played DM I played against much lower leveled players. Not fun for them and not that fun for me.

 

Also the reveal players option by calling Lester breaks it. You just have a constant radar.

I quite like the deathmatches.

 

I've made a good 100-150k from them alone this weekend.

 

Find a good team, play well, and bet high.

 

Being the top player on a winning team can easily net you anywhere between 8k and 13k per game.

Same reason I don't play in public free roams or do DMs or TDMs, auto aim makes it easy mode.

I use Free Aim like i stated in my original post and nobody is in them so that's not the reason. Anyone who uses auto aim has no skill. End of.

Compared to all other jobs, deathmatch offers very little RP and even less $$. Unless you do well every game, you are likely to loose $$ playing deathmatch. They should really try to balance it out and maybe more people would play it.

so no lvl 1-10 is forced to go against 80-90 with just a pistol....

if it's the first you basicly say : i would eat sh*t and do some boring stuff if the payout was high

 

maby think less about the reward and more about the fun.

the rage is priceless, just dont fully stop so they can empty car from quick menu

No..not at all what I'm saying. For me, deathmatches are boring unless they are to settle a dispute or crew vs. crew. Since it's boring to me, and it isn't profitable, there is no reason for me to play it regularly.

Deathmatches are balanced terribly, and they're boring. No one wants to be limited in a small area to play deathmatch in, I also don't think anybody wants stupid colors changing on the screen when you're on a killing spree. Maybe when the content creator is released people might play DM, but right now the areas are way too small.

Some objective based DM would be a nice addition to make it less boring. Turf wars or some sort of attack and defend type game mode.

The biggest issue with me was losing all that ammo and not getting enough money back at the end. Now that I have all the cars I want and modded, I'll likely go back to it again.

2) Barely anyone using free aim, the only setting that makes it fun.

3) Average GTA player has too short attention span and will use free roam as deathmatch.
