GunWrath
We all have a bit of superhero in us or a love for them. So, I've been running low on things to watch recently and I forgot that AMC had this and finally I gathered enough interest to take a peek.. and instantly, after the first episode, I fell in love with it. It's hilarious, especially Bryan Johnson (bearded dude) and just the cool sh*t that walks in the store and the stories they share. Show takes place about Kevin Smith, who 15yrs ago opened a shop called, Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, a one of a kind comic book store and sells a lot of novelty items from his films and career. It follows Walt mainly, as he runs the store and takes an in-depth look at how it works. Unique comics come through, as well as figurines, etc. I recommend this show to any avid comic fan, show watcher or just something to waste time. Kevin Smith doesn't appear in the actual store too many times but when he does, it's a riot. Use this as discussion for the show and use Netflix as means of catching up, as the 1st season is available.
darthYENIK
I suggest listening to their podcasts, both Smith's "Smodcast" and Walt Flanagan, Brian Quinn(best known for TruTV's Impractical Jokers), and Bryan Johnson's "Tell 'em steve dave". Both are pretty much just conversations between all the stars of Comic Book Men, and are the inspiration for the show. Plus you get to hear unfiltered Bryan Johnson, which is very entertaining. I've been listening to both shows from the beginning, and it's pretty interesting just to listen in on how much more different their lives are from three or four years ago when they started podcasting. You can listen to Smith come up with ideas for movies, talk about how he's writing a movie, and then eventually that movie is made. Zack and Miri Make a Porno was done like this, and you can hear the excitement of him coming up with the idea, then when he's making it, and then there is a major shift in his whole life after the movie's box office failure when he discovers marijuana (introduced to him by Seth Rogen), and then from that day forward he's pretty much stoned all the time. It's extremely interesting, since before that point he would talk about how he's only smoked weed a couple times, and it just wasn't for him. I mean, you can watch "unscripted" reality TV all you want, but this is actual reality entertainment. You can find them here: http://smodcast.com/ along with other podcasts (I also suggest Hollywood Babble-on. Very funny.)

KingPancakes
The smodcast develops awesomely from like they're not sure how they want to do it (Kevin smith and Scott Mosher, sure I didn't spell that right) to how it's done like clockwork all the time. Usually only an hour long or maybe a bit more and always funny. Worth listening to for sure. And the show is worth watching as it has everyone that appears on the smodcast so you kinda connect to the people knowing some of their backstories. Chukkles
Love Kevin Smith and all his movies. I heard there is going to be Clerks 3. I'll have to wait for this to hit UK.
make total destroy
I've been watching this a ton lately, and even though I'm not the least bit into comic books, or the culture surrounding it, I find it to be incredibly entertaining. Then again, I 'm from NJ, and live 10-minutes away from the stash, so that may explain my bias. That being said, it reminds me off all those bullsh*t auction shows that have been springing up the past few years, cept with comics. I have learned a lot, though.
