clean or dirty racer?

Just like the other posters here, I try to be as clean as I can. Obviously some paint does get traded, but not intentionally.

Pedo girll! lol.

I brake for slipstreamers, too - about the only defense against the inevitable ram or PIT. Clean otherwise - rather use SS to slingshot up the pack.

I don't PIT on purpose, but if someone else puts us into one ('us' because many people screw it up and end up spinning out right along with me), I'll try my level best to take them out as I go.

I try to race clean until some substandard driver tries to ram me, then it's fair game. My crew in my signature is for serious racers and folk that want to show of their rides, coming up to 100 members now. Feel free to join or add me on PSN - PaulTheFace

I play online most days.

Im more of a clean racer and avoid contact with others but when someone is bumping into me and tries to PIT me I do the same to him.

I noticed there is not as much respect anymore as in GTA IV. I try to race clean until other drivers show otherwise.

What I really hate are those people who are racing against you in their fully modified Adder, ramming you in the first corner with 'cath up' off, especially in a 1 or 2 lap prison race, just to make money fast.

As a Forza gamer, I'm a clean racer. But after weeks of racing in GTA, I've found out that clean racing don't get me anywhere in this game.. So I guess I've become a dirty racer when I race with randoms, and I hate it. It's sick how some people sacrifice their own race just to ruin the race for others..

And this is why I mostly race with my friends. We race clean and the best driver wins. This is the way to do it, and if not you should join the GTA races, where you actually are supposed to cheat.. But that's not as fun, is it?!

If weapons are on, dirty is fine by me, but no weapons and people should race clean. The number of idiots who've tried to ram, had me dodge them, and they hit the wall is a pretty high number. I've come from playing a LOT of Forza, so i'm used to keeping my eyes on all other drivers. I get hit a lot of times, but I dodge them way more. Trading paint is fine, but intentional ramming shows a lack of skill and intelligence. That and them shouting f*ck-ass cock-sucker over the mic in their 12 year old voices.

I'm a clean racer. But when some whiny little sh*t starts saying stuff about my female family members while trying to ram me off the road instead of trying to race, he's getting the same treatment as he's giving me.

There's always going to be that one guy who loves to ram in random races. Hence why I'm always aware of anyone who comes close to me in a race. I always race clean without ramming anyone. Hell,I did let a random guy win because I mistakenly spun him out.

If you're going in with a no ram mindset,it's best just to play with your mates. Pretty rare to find someone who doesn't ram in public races. It's just like expecting someone in free roam to not shoot you to be honest. Random players are hardly going to trust anyone, lol.

Just be aware of anyone on the mini-map who's getting too close to you even though there's plenty of space. Most of the times at least,it'll be bad news. :D

ok I have to admit that in criminal records I stay behind two laps to slipstream, but third lap I take them out using PIT.

its worth over 7000 rp!! so why not?

I love racing against dirty drivers they make it so easy to win

I joined a random race last night and was in with 2 other people, crew members who clearly knew each other. Both in Chrome Adders despite being only level 20ish, anyway in 8 races i got 8 wins using stock cars

Every race went exactly like this, I power start and look behind to see them 2 ramming each other off the line, literally the first thing they did was ram each other, I pull away and cruise to victory. I made nearly 80k from these 2 tools.

I get it a lot though people think you have to be dirty to win, all you really need do is to avoid trouble, avoid trouble and don't make any mistakes and you will win most of the time. Thats why i'm back to using power start now and just hope that there is some carnage behind me, the only problem I really get now is slipstreamers deciding to ram as they go past, it's a shame because if they had any brains they would realise getting into a ramming contest with me is just going to mean neither of us win, I've even had it where ive been spun out a couple of times so i'm racing like 9th out of 10 and the tenth place will come behind and try to ram me. f*cking idiot i even said to someone why don't we just stream each other and catch up with the pack but no he would rather try to spin me out and wind up on his roof and in last place. Dick

My tactics for races have changed over the weeks but I never intentionally get into it with any other racer, it just slows you both down, of course i defend myself if I am attacked but generally I will try and take the next corner better than him and open up a gap, concentrate on taking the corner correctly while he is concentrating on trying to wipe you out and inevitably you will have a 3 or 4 second gap after the corner, if not more when he has gone balls out to ram you without braking and has ended up on the other side of the freeway. The only time it really pays to ram is Down the drain on that last bend if you are just behind and catch them just right when they're turning in, you can use their wing as a brake and take the corner beautifully whilst really f*cking them up, I knocked someone from first to last doing this, and also on the 4th corner of Criminal Records get on the inside of them and ease them out into that solid brown pole.

Clean for the most part, though I do slam my brakes on people that slipstream me, provided I know I've seen that car as a bumper. I get a nice boost in speed and they spin out of control.

So you don't race clean....

So... your suggestion is I just let these people rear end me? Good one...

You automaticly presume that they will ram you, so if you are making the first move to ram people, you race dirty. If your rival started, you have my blessing to ram him. But if someone wants to use a slipstream to get passed you, just race and win the place back.

Click... right thumbstick > see what car is behind you > if said car has been observed ramming others, slam brakes on

I think you missed the part where I said I check to see if they were an offender.

worst people are the early rammers on tracks were you cannot escape them. That's why I only race Senora Highway and Route 68. There's enough space to escape at the beginning

I drive like a pro and almost every time when pass one of my opponents in the race I try (as good as I can) to either do a PIT-maneuver or ramm them with full force. It's especially good to do during the last lap. Ramming on bridges, an overpass, and uneven surfaces since you can cause other players to collide into concrete blocks or flip their car over. I try to avoid the big crowd of racers in the beginning though since there is a risk that they ramm me instead. When other's are ramming each others in the beginning I try to get ahead.
