Ok so I just got a message from a guy who did mass duping threads and he told me hes not going to continue anymore and that he's deleting his cars because hes not going to sift through this thread to reach out to people. This is why mass duping threads worked and this one single thread does not.

 

This is also not the first person I've heard who's not happy with this thread and will not individually message people.

 

It's very obvious some cars are more "rare" than others.

 

Also, why can't another sub forum for this exact reason be created so we can go there..? Do you mods not have that power or is creating a sub forum a big deal or something? You can always get rid of it if this ever gets patched and everyone loses everything.

 

Me and several others want to help people out, but this is.. Impossible. I get messages from people who aren't ever on when I am and they don't know when I'm on so how the hell are we suppose to do this?

 

I have cars people want, and I know others have even more cars that everyone wants but until there is solution to this to make it easy I don't know how to help. I can't individually message and reply back to all the people who message me or other dupers.

 

And yeah I could I say what I have and dupe some cars now, but I would be receiving messages for days, even if I do delete my GT from a post word of mouth will spread it too.

 

My best idea is that I propose we take all the cars and divide them into groups based on "rarity" and if they can be obtained or not through normal means. All police vehicles could go in one group, another could be snowy ones, and a third be everything else. Keep this trading thread for everything else like things that can be found in the game online. Then the mass dupers can get together and tell each other what they have and we can organize our cars accordingly. Then give those people a thread. I honestly don't see any other way around it, the biggest problem here is mass dupers just can't help people if we don't have a common place we can advertise when we are around and what times we are around.

 

Also I would like to add, why is okay for Criminal Record and Racing win swap threads to infest the board but not these? At least we're not promoting glitching for wealth or rank boosting, we're just trying to share damn cars.

We're trying to help out people in the forum but you guys are just restricting it, yet rank boosting threads can be made over and over and over? Because most of those topics are more productive than the dupe threads that we encounter. We're not trying to 'restrict' anything. We're trying to find a way to control the amount of threads lately due to duplicating certain vehicles.

 

As far as not listening, we are listening but we have to make the correct actions to make all of this work while making OUR job here a bit easier. Do you understand the amount of work it takes in running a forum of this magnitude? I doubt it. But if you want to be a little smartass, let's get down to it. If you want, we can lock all dupe threads and bin this topic in whole making Duplication banned from these forums. Do we do that? No, we're giving players a chance to still meet up and help each other all while staff decides the best route to take for everyone to be happy. It takes time as staff aren't online 24/7, we have lives..

 

You've been a member here for 4 weeks, the majority of you are new to GTAF and obviously don't have a clue about how this forum works or operates, so you're preaching to the wrong crowd. This is a free service, ultimately, you guys don't have any rights. However, we do listen to your suggestions and ideas and most of the time, we utilize them.. however, this section is still in some what of a clusterf*ck, so we have to slow things down for a bit until this is solved. Just be patient, if you can't wait acouple days .. then you're in the wrong place man.

 

Also, any more derailment to this topic, we will be forced to lock this down and ruin all of your chances. Don't be the one rotten apple. Take it to my PM if you have any further problems or pissing to do.
