Rockstar no longer charging money for solo races.

I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but it appears it's now free to play solo races for RP. I had been playing free roam for the last few hours and noticed i was a couple thousand RP away from level 128 and decided to run a few 1 lap solo races on criminal records for 1550 RP per race. i did 4 of them and just noticed i wasn't charged the $200 entry fee for any of them. i'm 99% sure they used to charge that entry fee if you were playing by yourself.

it was always like that if you don't race against anyone.

i swear i used to get charged even if i was racing by myself. Maybe that was a glitch similar to how you'd get charged $2k when you died in deathmatches. maybe R* patched it when they patched the $2k death fee in dm and i just never noticed it.

 

Maybe they charged the whole $300 fee if you didn't own the car you were racing with, but it was free if you were. even though in races with other people it's $200 to race or $300 to race + rent a car.
