everytime i try to get my car from the impound lot the cops try to murder me, tonight i tried about two times to get my upgraded futo from the lot and got killed by cops on my third try i just lobbed grenades at my car and payed to have my car replaced (a whole lot easier way to get it back and the around $450.00 fee wasn't bad.

You can order another car from your mechanic and it wil ldestory it so you can make a claim..... But I always kind of enjoy getting it back... Once you get out you can peace into the tunnels three blocks west.

like i said the easiest way i found to get it back is blow it up and file a claim and pay a small fee.

all you have to do is go to the alley on the side and jump the wall, hop in your car, and drive to the gate. when it opens drive off. i think you only get 2 stars which is easy to lose.

and there's a tramway tunnel just outside for a super easy escape.

If you were just wanting to blow it up save yourself the money on grenades and just call out another vehicle, car in the impound is instantly destroyed and if you are still in the other vehicle you called out and call the insurance place it's sent straight to your garage. Personally I got no trouble going in and getting my babys.

 

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be in a lobby with someone who was the level of the cargobob, managed to airlift my futo out of the impound with it! Love this game.

Easiest way to get it back once impounded:

Call Mechanic to deliver different car

Call insurance to restore impounded(now destroyed) car

Call Mechanic to deliver recently impounded car

 

calling a different car auto-magically destroys it for you.

It is the way it is to make it a point of contention for players. If people were spread out randomly across the map, no one would ever be near anyone else. That's why they designed the game to encourage players to go to the same areas (like the apartments, stores, high-priority cars, crate drops, etc).

I just hop the fence and drive it out... you only get 2 stars, I spend most of my 2 star bounty runs sitting in a field the cops won't go into trying to figure out which station I want to listen to.

Its a bummer you dont have the option to just pay the $300 fee from sp and get your car out of impound. Options are better!
