K/D Ratio Mechanic

I've worked out, that it will only count player kills towards Kills, however it will accept both player, NPC and suicides to death ratio.

 

I personally find this fairly unbalanced, how do you feel about it?

I've f#cked around so much in Free roam I've racked up a whole bunch of deaths just by having fun and definately not being serious about my K/D ratio... though, after all, I probably don't even care, but it would've been nice to see an actual representation of how I've done when I've actually been on a mission and playing serious

 

(Just today just saluted in the middle of the road when I saw a car coming. I did a triple backflip aand it was totally worth it.)

I like how people just go along with this for a week without anyone actually checking.

 

K/D ratio only factors in deaths to other players.

No it doesn't. Only deaths by other players lower your k/d. I have over 300 deaths total, but only 120 or so were caused by other players, and those are the only deaths that matter.

 

As far as I know, your PvP K/Dr is the only k/d ratio shown; there is no "overall" k/d.

My Mechanic K/D is off the charts.

He's yet to kill me once, though that's not to say he hasn't tried.

One K/D is in your weapon screen on Social Club the other one is in your stats in general stats.

today i looked at my social club page (sorry no pics so i expect no pictures it didn't happen comments) i looked at my k/d ratio it was i think 7.93

Yeah I seen a few of them in game going around sneak attacking and sucker punching, then as soon as anyone pursues them they change session. They're probably the people who kill all their team mates after missions too. Pathetic...
