What kind of player are you? And how much is your actual personality?

I ask this question because I feel this is the biggest contributing factor to peoples fun. Personally, I'm the kind of person who loves sports and spending as much time challenging myself. I've just ran half way across the map and swam along the Alamo Sea. Got onto land again and THEN, decided to run all the way up Mount Chilliad. Who else does it? I'm guessing not many.

I've been enjoying GTA a sh*t load, playing as though it was myself in game. The one thing I've noticed with mates too, is that they also portray their real life selves. Some love money, the flashy cars, the cute apartment etc... These guys, they've glitched/farmed so bloody much and bought it all. The large majority of them have become very bored with the game and want more of these "NEW" flashy things. Which in online gaming language is basically what we call DLC.

I have a proposition for the bored players. Why not do something different and just try to enjoy what you haven't even tried yet? Oh you own a garage full of super cars, please tell me how much you've seen of the ocean?

We should really be showing this game a lot more appreciation. Far too many moan threads around here. Maybe people should just have a look at themselves and learn to re-adjust a little.

Meh, I'm guessing I've written too much for too many of these forum members.

Thorough:

As you can see, I'm sacrificing the ability of leveling up in order to help other players by duplicating cars. I also pretty much avoid everyone and everything when playing public free roam lobbies, as I mostly just do missions. I don't enjoy getting into scuffles with other players.

I don't really spend any time in the Wilderness area of the map, but offroading in Sandy Shores is really appealing to me for some reason.

Better? Lol

Haha the first response was good enough but I'll take that.

Just trying to make these forums a little more sociable and less "OP is a fag"... Now that I said that someone will surely make me feel psychic for what's about to happen

In real life I'm a nice dude always down to help people out. I tried that in game for the first couple hours.

Now I just kill anyone who rolls up on me who isn't on my friend/crew list. It just isn't worth the hospital bills hoping the guy parked outside of LS customs just wants to see the mods you added to your car.

I'm generally fairly laid back these days, and that reflects in how I play. Always up for some fun regardless of what i'm doing as well, and it takes a lot for me to rage.

I like to challenge myself and earn what I own, and that reflects in my gameplay, as well my ability to fix and mod all sorts of things (mainly computers and instruments, but cars in-game lol).

Being musical, there's always a radio playing something, either in the apartment or in the car.

To somebody that as much as points a gun at me in game - ruthless. If I could pay real money to cause physical pain to other people for f*cking with me, I would.

If somebody's nice to me and ... if somebody simply doesn't shoot at me on sight, I am very kind and very helpful.

I like sniping and flying most of all. As for how I generally play.. I'm a car thief. I sell mostly Ballers, Felons and GTs when I get them and I take pride in turning in cars to Simeon without a speck of dust on them lol. On our missions, I'm the designated pilot. Not sure what the mission is called, but its unlocked later on and involves stealing prop planes and landing them on the docks beside the large ship down south, and I'm the only one of my crew that didnt hit something while landing that.

Otherwise I pretty much help out our group by sitting back and sniping.

My character is more-or-less the same as my IRL personality. I can be cold and calculating when need be but I generally enjoy being friendly and helpful when I recieve the same.

I dont care about glitching or exploiting though I will admit a guy gave me franklin's buffallo and I had to take it (My IRL cars are Mercuy Milan, Audi, and the latest Charger -- so I had to at least get the tailgater and buffallo). I just enjoy taking in the sights, doing what I need to do... money is hard some times but to me it is more enjoyable.

I like planning things. Missions and such with no real reward other then a good time. MY buddy and I hit the "bank" today, we put C4 on the doors.. blew them.. rushed in then went around to the back... blue the safe and "got the money" by this time cops were storming up... we fought our way out to the getaway car, hopped in and peeled down to the subway station where we jumped on bikes that we pre-parked there and made a sucessful getaway...

I want to hit the prison too and do some sort of planned escape. The sanbox they gave us is huge and full of reactions.

However... I do like my pvp... not deathmatch.. but freeroam pvp.... I wont troll but like I'll get you back of you get me... and bounty hunting is always a great time

In game, I've been a good guy who teams up and is generous, and I've been hell on earth and got rewarded for both.

In a car meet for example, I'm a good player and focus on the cars, taking beatiful pictures and teaming up. Oh but if someone kills me in free mode for no reason..I'll kill him 20 times and everyone else who I see on the way, because all of them will probably shoot me when they see that I have my gun out.

In real life..I'm some kind of manly, obsessed with pride Trevor stuck in civilization who feels depressed with no hope most of the time. Some people say I'm nice, others say that I'm a degenerate and need help. BUT HEY. I'm just open minded. Kind of.

You know what? I know I'll probably be dissapointed, but tomorrow 2;00 AM as soon as I get out of the Bad Sport servers I'll try the ocean idea. I've seen a submarine in a place. Or I'll just buy a Seashark. I don't think that there will be anything else to enjoy but beauty.

Wow, need to try some of this stuff myself. Sounds like your having a whale of a time with it haha.

Heists are going to be class when they arrive. There's so many different options of taking it on, routes to get away, vehicles to escape with. A lack of imagination and creativity is some people lack, I reckon.

I wish they could add scuba diving gear to online. I have an urge to explore the ocean for the sake of seeing something new and completely different. Parachuting is probably my 2nd favourite thing to do just after BMX. I also have purchased every single piece of footwear, funny enough I have a lot of footwear irl too.

I like to think I'm pretty relaxed. I generally jump in one of my cars and go find people on the map and see what they are up to. I'm the kind of guy to give you lifts in choppers/planes and stand outside of ammunation with my shotgun at the ready watching over our cars while you shop.

@Hotaru99 I know what mission you are talking about. Its amazing how many people try to land going head on to the checkpoint instead of circling to the right, makes it so much easier!

Feel free to add me anyone

Running halfway across the map and swam along the sea coast? God, my right thumb is hurting just from the thought....

I like being cooperative and helping others as long as they're not trashy-mouthed or creepy. Most of the time I'm in passive mode and when I get griefed I laugh it off and move on. So yah, that's me in real life too.

I think I've tried all the interesting ideas floating around the forum though, from money-glitching to car-meets and getting police cars into garages. I've sailed on a luxury yacht with a friend and took the selfies. We've had the lapdances in our apartments. I've tried the submarine. I'm not complaining that the game is boring, but I can see without my friend to play this with, the game is getting old fast.

We need more options to be less violent. For one, I'd love binoculars so I can watch spot someone from a distance but without them thinking I'm a threat.

Some friendly emotes would help, like giving a flower or a wave.

Well even heists will be limited I think. With just a bit of imagination you can take this sandbox world and make it alive. I've been thinking of a "story " where a few friends any myself can complete over time. Starting with breaking someone out of the prison it can then develop into taking over that weird cultist fort and holding down there for a bit. Perhaps the police discover your location and sends a squad after you causing you to abandon the mountain fort and find a new place.

We are also looking to put in a mission where we can steal something from the cargo docks using a cargobob helicopter... we havent gotten the specifics yet however.

Also for OP... IF you like exploring this is perfect... we always take a few min up to an hour before each of these "missions" to scout the area.... find possible escape routes, best entrance location.... With the Prison break we plan to circle the prison with a copter, one person zooms in with a camera and takes photos to look over later in the social club.

Lol sounds like fun but wasn't me. I'm quite the introvert so I usually do things like this alone.

I really try and get into it.

I had spent a total of 8 mil (out of my original 30) on myself. After that, I spent 10 mil helping strangers out. I try and make people's sessions more interesting. I might hear a noob complain that he can't afford an upgrade, I'll get the same type of car, mod it and paint it the way he wants (usually chrome xd) and give it to him. Others just want to fly a jet, or a tank, or drive a space docker. I hear a guy wish he can't afford the Advanced rifle, just buy him one, hear the guy get super excited over mic. It's more fun to be nice.

But the most fun I've had is with people who are slightly into roleplay.

Getting a few BF Surfers and driving up to Paleto Bay and chilling by the beach while someone plays Radio Mirror Park is great. We change and I get my yacht ,and we just sail into the super deep waters, we go to my apartment after, sh*t like that.

Getting 2 Luxury jets and parachuting into mount chilliad or fort zancudo, rafting on the falls near sandy shore, hiding 9 people in those big trucks, driving around as bikers, it's what keeps the game interesting for me even though I have everything.

I try and not f*ck with anyone, i drive around in an armored Police Riot Van. If I pull up andf honk my horn, and you start shooting at the glass, I'll just honk and drive away. Keep shooting me and I'll spawn kill you for the next 20min for being a dick. Only exception is when I hear someone's camping at the customs, I'll drive up to the f*cker and hunt him too.

TL:DR: I play nice. I try and share the wealth and if you're a dick I'll come after you.
