Tow Truck Discussion [OFFICIAL TOPIC]

If you are unaware of the tow truck glitch, it basically involves glitch kicking all players from a GTA Online session. If someone uses a tow truck to tow a pedestrian/NPC vehicle it will freeze the game for every other player in that session.

 

 

 

If you want to discuss the tow truck glitch, duping the tow truck, or people trolling with the tow truck glitch, do it here.

Was in a public session and took my cop truck out and killed a few people breaking the law lol. I was just driving around with lights and sirens on following a dude who was ramming people. he shot at me so i killed him haha. anyway someone else killed me and when i respawned my cop car was impounded so i just called for my phoenix since the cop car has $0 ded insurance. well the phoenix ends up spawning inside a building or some weird crap like that. car was on the map right by me but i never saw it. then this dude pulls up in a tow truck and starts honking so for some stupid reason i got in the truck. as soon as i did he backs into a car and latches on and boom frozen xbox. they really need to ban these idiots for using that thing.

luckily i didn't lose any of my cars in the process.

I have a Tow truck and other than the first 30 minutes I had it, I don't tow cars to freeze people's xbox.

 

Just confused, because I towed around a random car for almost 30 minutes and nobody left the lobby so I assume nobody froze.

 

Anyway, I am not getting rid of my tow truck because I love how it looks, but I don't troll with it.

The only fix I see R* doing to stop the tow-truck issue is disabling the towing feature itself. Other than that I don't see R* being able to go through everyones garage and removing vehicles that arn't suppose to be insured and what not. Other than that, I haven't seen anyone with a towtruck yet on PS3. So I don't mind as long as I'm not around for it. Have fun!

edit again: also i was towing people in their personal cars and people still were being kicked. i don't think it matters what kind of vehicle you tow.

Honestly, its a hit and miss on play station. Some times it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

 

BUT here is my argument.

 

I'm releasing it BECAUSE I want people to ruin the lobby.

 

Why?

 

Maybe Rockstar will just fix the tow truck instead of taking it away from the few that have it.

 

I want to enjoy my tow truck with out the possibility of people getting frozen.. Ya know?

i really don't see any logic behind that reasoning considering how slow they are to even patch the money glitches. people will just stop playing before they even get around to patching lol. but i suppose no one can stop you so oh well, sorry psn users, get ready to feel xbox users pain!!
