Rockstar has made me exploit the game

Its funny really. At the start of GTA:O, I was totally against using any glitches or exploits because its a game ruiner and thought it would take away the fun of earning money from missions etc. I have ranked up to level 57 legit and got myself a couple of fully modded low end cars and an apartment. But now I am at the point where Im bored with the game. Not only have rockstar disabled the option to buy cashcards, but we have also seen no sign of the $500,000 they promised. Add to that the complete lack of new content in terms of heists, along with the fact they have halved the amount of money you earn from missions, and that leaves me feeling pretty pissed off with the game. So when someone earlier offered to show me a new LSC glitch which would earn me $1million in ten minutes, I couldnt resist. Now i have a few million in the bank, some nice supercars to play with and the ability to buy stuff without scraping by, and Im really enjoying the game again. Rockstar and other people may spout on about its wrong to exploit the game, but I see it as they have brought it on themselves. This game revolves around money. When the opportunites to make money are severely limited for one reason or another, its inevitable that people will exploit it. I dont feel bad. I love life again.

Your lack of patience has nothing to do with Rockstar.

Its not about being impatient. Ive spent the last few weeks doing missions and ranking up legitimately (having lost my first character). But there is only so much I can take of doing the same missions for crap money. If they had got there arse into gear when they said they would, I wouldnt be doing it.

I guarantee you buddy you'll be bored again in no time. I had millions, the 400k apartment all the guns and super cars, and even all the clothing. But I just got bored cause I had no goal, nothing to aim for. Now I've started all over and am going 100% legit

It is about being impatient. You wanted more money, but didn't want to take the time to earn it.

That's a pretty spot on definition of impatience.

Not sure why you keep saying the same misisons for crap money - i'm level 72 and i'm constantly getting high paying new missions.

Because Rockstar logged your avatar and glitched? Don`t be ridiculous. You are a little punk that tries to put blame anywhere else but on your own cheating shoulders.

Did they hold a gun to your head or threaten to hurt your loved one? If not then R* hasn't made you do anything.

You weren't bored because of the way you got the money for those things, you were bored because high-end things like apartments and super cars are intrinsically boring after a very short period of time. You'll feel exactly the same way the next time around after earning them legitly.

It has NOTHING to do with Rockstar, but all about you.

Blaming Rockstar saying that they brought it on themselves that you exploit/glitch or whatnot, is like saying you raped that girl just because she wore a short skirt, and thus, she brought it on herself.

This is ALL you and your lack of patience.

And this game certainly isn't about money, that's on you.

I have fun flying and parachuting or taking a sailboat around the island. I have around 2 million saved up simply because I have no need to buy anything and I actually like seeing what cars drive by me that I can take and just use those.

The way you want to play the game makes you need money and you don't want to earn it yourself so its not Rockstars fault that you are impatient. You just don't know how to save well.

If Rockstar delivered a working game to start with, they would have been able to keep the cash cards up on the store.

All those people glitching now would have paid for cash cards and made Rockstar yet another fortune out of our pockets. Not counting the $1 billion we already gave then on release day.

They took the cash cards down because they could not guarantee that the money/cars/properties would not just be deleted by the cloud server.

Rockstar just cost themselves a massive fortune by screwing up the launch of online.

Jedi Master Tom

Still playing legit, still having fun. I spend 90% of my time in free-roam, robbing armored trucks, stealing and selling high end cars, hunting the occasional bounty, knocking over liquor stores, collecting crates, or getting into insane battles with players that try to kill me while I do my thing.

Since I've stopped wasting so much time (and money) trying to complete insanely difficult missions (strictly a free-aim player) that aren't even worth the payout anymore, I seem to be making money a slow but steady rate.

Level 41, and I have two fully modded vehicles, a decent arsenal of modded weapons to defend myself, and a measles 2 car garage located just off the highway between LS and Blaine County. It's probably not much people who glitched to get their millions, but at least I still have a lot to look forward to. And a sense of accomplishment for what I have earned so far.

I'll keep doing my thing. You have fun with whatever game you move on to because you've essentially ruined this one for yourself. And no one forced you to do this, so don't act like you didn't want to do this but Rockstar left you no choice. It's your fault you don't have patience, no one else's.

Eh, i'm pretty sure that the majority of glitchers were the same people screaming "no microtransactions!" when they were first announced.

Although I haven't glitched I can see why people would, I'm fed up of this crap paying jobs and everyone riding round in the best cars... I saved for ages to get my vacca and was the first out of my friends to get one. Now you see every car as an entity or adder because people cheated to get them.

There isn't really any incentive to play anymore rockstar f*cked the game up when they released it with so many bugs. I'd rather they higher the prices on everything and just allow you to replay missions like you used to be able to 400k for the most expensive house is a joke.

1 of the most ridiculous threads/statements i have seen in the last few days

Sorry OP but it had to be said, no one makes you do anything, we all have choices in life. Steal or not to steal, eat or not to eat, cheat or not to cheat

Wow, i am now lost for words...................................................................................................................

Yeah OP sounds like you're being impatient. Did people forget other games exist or something? Take a break and come back when heist are available.

I'm fine with what I have now. And by the way, the heist feature, content creator, stimulus package, and stock market would probably have been out by now if it weren't for people glitching. Now instead of bringing those earlier mentioned things I listed, they are having to waste their time finding a way to patch the glitches.

But playing legit, hes more likely to make friends, that he can make more fun with in the future. While glitching is you on ur lonesome, repeating the same actions over and over again... You come out of it with millions and no one to enjoy it with.

I found R* to be quite foolish in their approach of patching the glitch anyway. Rather than fix the actual issue, which is in the act of selling cars themselves, they decided to simply patch entering the store/marketplace. It was obvious a new way would be found using some kind of other menu, such as character select. I can only assume they was pressured into releasing the patch as soon as possible and that is the answer they came up with.

lol did your girlfriend make you cheat on her too?

same argument, it's invalid

Those are two very different things.

A game is meant to be enjoyed. It is designed to entertain, not to be a job where players have to work and work to even enjoy it.

Exploiting a game glitch in a situation like this does not put a dent in one's integrity. Cheating on a girlfriend is another story.

I was bored of the way I got that money and bored of everything in the end. But it's because I got it so easily and so quickly that I got bored of it. But by playing legit, it's gonna take effort, it's gonna take a while for me to have everything, but by the time that happens the dlc should start rolling out. That's even more for me to do. You glitch now you'll be bored, and you'll be that way until the dlc comes out, and you'll probably glitch again, and be bored within a day or 2.

I don't mind starting from the start again. GTA Online is pretty stable, reduced payments will make it harder for me to get everything, which in turn will prolong my gameplay.

It's actually the same thing.

A boyfriend/girlfriend is meant to be enjoyed. It is designed to entertain, not to be a job where you have to work and work to even enjoy it.

Exploiting a game-glitch like that says alot about the person. If you are a cheater or not.

It is not Rockstar that forced him to cheat, it was himself.
