Pretty sure there's gonna be GTA 1x maybe even 2x. It's not one of those games where they base the game on a specific group of chars. All they're gonna change each time are better graphics and minor game features.

From leaks gathered by Rockstar followers it seems that GTA 6 is going to be quite different.

 

All of the same gameplay mechanics will be in place but the role of the protagonist will be changed. Instead of the game focusing on criminal activity the main role will be law enforcement.

 

It is guessed that people will start out the game as a rookie cop with multiple branching paths that take you through the ranking process in either the city police, FIB, or military where your goal is to "clean up the streets" as opposed to contributing to the criminal element.
