I can understand boredom, especially if you don't have like-minded people to play alongside, because in any multiplayer game, the community is it's greatest strength,.

 

if R* don't create an environment that will foster a pleasant community, then the game will die.

It has been 4 days since I last touched GTA O.

 

At first I was excited to play it. When I had 1 hour left to leave my work place all I could think was about this game. Now? I don't even care...

 

I have a feeling of mixed boringness and laziness when I think of playing GTA O again. My character is at level 67 and I havent glitched so far.

 

Ofc this is a result of many decisions R* implemented on GTA O which I won't write in here since Im not the only one affected by this, but the question remains:

 

If money is really changing R*, should we be hyped when GTA VI gets announced?

I share this feeling i am 31 years old i grew up to the GTA series my favourite of all time was number 3 and San Andreas on ps2. I was hyped to get this years V 17th of september had arrived

 

and it was here i had it in my hand excited to get home and play it i did the story and that was that i enjoyed it. Now after the days went on i woke up to my self and thought hang on a minute where is the fun

 

i wanted to buy a chainsaw and a flame thrower and its not even in the game the game play remains stale and boring I didn't t have interest in playing the Online part of the game so yeah The visual remains

 

Rockstars strong point the game play has taken a big dive sadly and there for i traded in the game and now have Borderlands 2 game of the year edition and in a few days Battlefield 4 and very soon next gen.

 

it's a hell of a year for games,music and technology.

The game is fun, i still play it, but it is lacking something.

 

In my opinion, i think there should be more objectives added into the free roam. As of right now, free roam consist of bounties, random player killing, stealing cars for simeon, gang attacks and robbing stores. In a list, that sounds like a decent enough group of activities, the problem is that there is little depth to any of them. Not to mention that stealing high priority cars is flawed since there is only one location to bring them, making it super easy to camp and ruin someone's moment.

 

We need more activities that promote group cooperation in an open world, or something that is more rewarding when completed together. We need more objectives to draw crowds of players and cause more chaos because that, in my opinion, is when the best fun happens. We need more random events and chaos!

 

I like the jobs and missions we can do, but i want something a bit less linear at times. Jobs and missions constraint you on how you do things, and also when and where. I enjoy the free roam, but it needs to be a bit more interesting.

GTA has never been a game that I could play everyday. It has always been the game that I play when I'm bored and fancy pissing around. I'm quite bored of GTA as well if I'm honest. However, BF4 is out soon, as is COD so if you play these games for a bit you may get the urge to play GTA again?

I don't enjoy GTA V as much because I know who's working on it.
I've lost 2 characters, I've been ignored and Rockstar is constantly delaying sh*t, breaking stuff that weren't broken, changing things that didn't need a change, and not fixing the most important bugs.

I just feel like I am playing a game that is barely finished and it feels like the programmers don't know what they're doing right now.
A bunch of monkeys slamming the keyboards is what I see in my head.

 

And I wish I could actually meet nice people that wouldn't shoot me on sight. But then again... when they do not shoot me on sight, there's nothing to do with them.

it's okay to screw around with friends on a closed session, but even that's starting to get stale now.

 

they needed to decide whether the game was going to be free roam or lobby-based. free roam is just too bland and repetitive atm, then having only custom lobbies that affect rank is just dumb.

Constantly getting my crew and friends spawned in separate lobbies after every single job or race is ruining this. When you try to join each other there is a whole bunch of error messages shared out between us, full lobby/timed out/player left etc.

Worse still, the best games have some sort of tangible reward for playing fairly. In GTAO if you are a good sport, you can play for 8 hours and get a whole $1000. Whoop-de-f*cking-do. In that same 8 hours, you can rob people, steal and spawn rape, and make half a mil. Is it any wonder the lobbies are full of douches and everyone is getting fed up. Not to mention that as other people have said, if you want to be a good sport and just do missions, they've now nerfed the payouts. What is the point Rockstar, really? It's almost as if they want online to fail, just so they can say they offered it and we didn't want it. They've made their billion, be nice if they spent some of that online...

Its strange how they didnt put Cops N Crooks on this game. It was awesome... R* needs to step up their online component
