Anyone has this feeling?

It has been 4 days since I last touched GTA O.

At first I was excited to play it. When I had 1 hour left to leave my work place all I could think was about this game. Now? I don't even care...

I have a feeling of mixed boringness and laziness when I think of playing GTA O again. My character is at level 67 and I havent glitched so far.

Ofc this is a result of many decisions R* implemented on GTA O which I won't write in here since Im not the only one affected by this, but the question remains:

If money is really changing R*, should we be hyped when GTA VI gets announced?

sorry for my english

I guess legit and glitching players all feel similar.

Rockstar thought that by making the money the only possible progression in this game they'd make it fun. Unfortunately, they failed miserably and I wonder who was the idiot before this decision.
Not to mention the servers and lost characters.

But yeah, no point in talking about it. I am also less and less interested in this game, which I think is a good thing, because I have some exams and essays coming up :D

I can echo pretty much the exact same thing verbatim. I really just get on to quell absolute boredom. I think the lack of a cohesive unit of online friendlies mixed with a lack of heists just kills it.

We are indeed a growing population of bored gta-players - and now you can even say it out loud without being hated *looks around* ...

This is their first massive multiplayer experience, so it's not going to be the best thing in the world but it's definitely better than GTA IV. I found the only way to have a truly fun experience, is to play with your friends. Cause some havoc on pedestrians, do some mountain climbing with Sandkings, the possibilities are just endless. I've went through a week of boredom already but I got back into the groove by just having fun with my homies as opposed to playing on a routine that Rockstar makes it out to be.

If I need money, I'll sell a car or do a quick mission.. other than that, I'm usually just freemoding and having fun. It's going to be some time before VI is released since Rockstar stated they aren't working on another GTA title for awhile .. but I think we can expect another edition of RDR or atleast a new IP (possibly Agent) coming soon.

I'd still love it if R* had of fixed exploits. All the issues stem from inept management. The core game is great.

Oh well, just another forgotten online attempt for the bin of history.

Bring on next gen!

Not me... I play it every day and have a blast.

It might sound boring, but yesterday I spent about 30 minutes following NPC's around listening to their phone conversations. Hilarious.

Then play another game? Were you planning on playing GTA:O for ever or something?

i think he was planning on the game to last a little more than 30 days ... which imo is fair considering the hype ... Would it also be fair to assume that the op werent looking for your advice, but wanted to know if others felt the same ?

What? Your post is more coherent and grammatically correct than most high school graduates in English speaking countries.

In fact, the only error in your English is something most people probably didn't notice: "boringness" should have been "boredom". The same way saying "laziness" means you felt lazy, saying "boringness" would mean you feel like you are boring, rather than feeling bored.

Ain't that the truth.... its not that I don't enjoy playing it, it just lacks that "something" that makes you want to even start playing it again...

thanks, the thing is, theres always something that sounds wrong in my head, being a non native english speaker, maybe the "boringness" did it for that post xD

Its only boring if you are boring.

Well I've played all the previous GTA's without being bored for about 2-3 years after each release, so I guess that im not the only at fault here

I see so many people already saying that GTA:O is boring them, and I can't possibly see how.

Well, I guess I can.

I got the game, was so excited to play, rushed through it; missions, missions, more missions, my only thought on how much how I could get and how fast I could rank up. Then, one day, I had a moment of free time and realized that I didn't want to play. While the missions are fairly decent, maybe not so more with the pay cut, but it is really in Free Roam where GTA:O shines. Just getting thrown into a server with 15 other people, all randoms, not knowing who's good and who's bad, is the greatest feeling. Yes, many players treat Free Roam like Death Match, myself included sometimes, but that's part of the game.

The game's beauty comes out in the almost endless possibilities it offers players: become a bounty hunter, chasing down players for that sweet reward; steal (or buy) a helicopter and seek out all the crates, some are "special" and offer rewards such as 5000 RP, $5000, and a minigun!

Or, just go for a cruise around Blaine County, soaking in the beautiful, although sadly barren/wildlife-lacking, landscape. Maybe even go up to Mt. Chilliad and check out the illumanati references! The world is yours!

All of the fun granted from this can be multiplied tenfold with the addition of friends! Hop on to social club, join a crew, and do all of these things and more with some great people.

TL;DR: The game offers more than just missions and races. Jump into Free Roam and just enjoy the game for what it is - an open world. Even more fun with friends/crewmates.

Bored or not, this is just the stepping stone to much more to come...look at other MMO's...most has base amount of lvls and items, over time they add and eventually the game has more to do than time to do it.

Go play another game for a while, come back on 6 months, you may be surprised what has improved at that point.

I love the game, but I'll be honest. I've lost a lot of my interest since they nerfed mission payouts. I don't feel like I'm earning anything when the amount of money I'm earning is spent right after on ammunation or other services required during a mission. After taking away the ability to replay missions, it was fine. They didn't have to nerf payouts too...

The stepping stone of driving around for 10 minutes

Finding a guy

Shooting him with auto aim

And spawn killing him
