Ugh do I need to buy DLC that lets GTA: O keep the group together?

Seriously, I play with a group of friends and this damn game can barely keep us together, after finishing a job we all vote free mode but the says "f*ck you" and splits everyone up into random lobbies.

 

This needs to be looked into R*

this happens to me all the time....they need a "party" system so you and your party can all join a quick job together as well

Yes, since Crews are more like "Guilds", there needs to be a Squad-System as well, inviting people to the Same Squad/Party , each staying with eachother until leaving the Squad, be it in Free Roam or not.

The thing I hate is how they just separate us without any reason.

 

We all go into the same free roam which is on invite only mode

 

We start a job

 

We all join and do the job

 

We all vote for free mode

 

BAM it just randomly splits some of us up.

Has happened a few times to me before.

Never when in a closed crew session though.

 

All the time ... Why do we have to tell you how to write computer games Rockstar ? this is so obvious, i cant believe you didnt get that right ... *eyeballs Rockstar*

Yeah, I only play this with one other person usually, and yet it always splits us up after a job even when both voting Free Mode. I thought that was the point of voting for Free Mode, is that you stay together.

It is very annoying. The problem is that you can't open up an invite only session to public once you and your friends are in there which is kind of dumb.

 

These aren't official forums though so until Rockstar decides to launch their social club forums, we're just gonna have to wait.

They had the posse system in RDR, you would think they'd bring that functionality forward. It's not like they don't know it exists.

+1. Finally got one of my friends to play who's not very into online games. After 2 hours of this nonsense he was done for good :(

I found out last night.. that whomever is the host of a game (if you're in a private session), let the host vote Freeroam first, then the others follow. But if you're in a public session, then it basically dwells down to room available. Plus it's a public session, don't expect to be stuck together. This same thing happens across all games.. even Call of Duty would have it's issues.

They need a system that puts you in a lobby with enough room or if none exist starts a new one for your crew.

 

The problem with splitting often comes with nat settings though and if some people are moderate/closed they won't make it into certain lobbies.

 

They just need a party system in general. Something that keeps you together and avoids locking on to your friends

Rockstar should take note from infinity ward or DICE, there is no denying that they sure as hell know how to make a better multiplayer game. At least when it comes to a smooth, quick and stress free experience.

It's a bit sad but true.

 

 

I can play a session of CoD with no issues but GTA Online is pretty big and with all the instability and cloud issue weird stuff happens
